They are also on the look out for theft. Saying this as someone who worked on the costco exit. We check your receipts to make sure you're not trying to steal, and to make sure we don't undercharge or overcharge you.
I was craving Oreos. I didn’t want regular Oreos I trying to stay away from corn syrup. I bout the trader Joe’s. Ok’s. They were gross. I have know this I’ll return them. Usted eating just 2 and tossing it.
This is not true. Many casinos charge per night resort fees, and you get the cheapest rate on non peak travel days. Good luck on finding a $40 a night room, or anywhere even close to that, on a Friday or Saturday night at a casino hotel. Yeah, that's not happening.
I hate the receipt checking and the sample stations the most. Both create what is basically traffic jams with people when im judt trying to get from one area to the next for specific items. Samples being worse, its like people are so unaware of their surroundings that they'll just dead stop to try something. So annoying.
As someone who worked at a Costco it was also to make sure we actually scanned everything. If you and your cashier are found missing an item you can be written up. Our store had a competition for the recipes checkers to catch the most mistakes.
