I ran them in my old street triple rs and loved them. 7k miles out of them the way I ride. Commute to work all highway weekends hard riding in the twisties. Got 10k miles out of a set on my old hayabusa. Riding the same way. Currently have a cbr1000rr and just tore through a rear Bridgestone s22. That tire only lasted me 3k miles. Just bought me another gpr 300 for the rear that will be going on soon. For a budget tire I’ve never broken traction with them hard riding in the twisties, rain riding, cold weather riding. Great tires
Got these tyres two weeks ago for my street triple 675rx, they warm up so quickly, hold well and they cheap, what more would anyone expect from the tyres.
@@bestofxqcL Yes sir! Imho this helmet is a 10/10 i haven't found any flaws. I been riding with this helmet for 2 weeks and let me tell you the air flow is uuuuuuuge. I have a high body temp so a high air flowing helmet is a must! Haven't used my SHOEI RF-1400 since😂. $1100 well spent.

If you crash it's the tires or the bikes fault for sure.LOL. Just got one for the front cause the old hard as a rock BT014 that I had no problems with needed to go.
@@Ridetousness I mean a lot of the times I get cut off on the highway by “biker boyz.” Then seen them going in & out of traffic while doing wheelies. I mean if you’re riding like that next to a semi then you’re some kind of special.
@@Ridetousness it’s kind of hard when they come out of nowhere and both are traveling at a high rate of speed. A car should stay in its lanes a bike has the ability to zoom in and out
Maybe I’m wrong but spending $1500+ on a helmet(especially for street riding) seems a little extra to me. Now granted I only have an R3 but I couldn’t imagine paying for a helmet that is a quarter of the price of my bike.
Coming from a GPR-300, would you recommend switching to S22's? I don't have issues with the GPR-300. The way I daily it, I'm sure I'm not pushing the tire to it's limits but I do want to try out different tires to see how each feels. And maybe decide on which to stick with after.
I am running Continental ContiMotions and i'm also between the GPR300 and the S22s but haven't tried neither. I'm leaning towards the S22s for the grip but i'm a bit worried for their longevity, i'm doing abt 70km daily. I wish someone would do a comparative review on grip, longevity and at what temperature they get to their full grip.
@@cnrom I went ahead and got s22s. Been running it for around 500km now. So far, the S22s feel like they want guide you into the turn. On my ninja 400, that's already really flickable, it just wants to bank into the turn more with the S22s(doesn't slip though/just feels unnatural at first). Cons, I don't know how to explain it but it feels less comfortable on straights now but not by much. Maybe it's the size of the contact patch and the shape. And speaking of shape, it looks way better than the GPR-300 aesthetics-wise, in my opinion. I'm on the 110/70 front and 150/60 rear which is the recommended size from the N400. Still too early to tell if it will last as much as the GPR-300s though.
@@bloodasp6278 Thanks, i believe you'll get to use to them more, 500km is not much. Also, maybe checking/playing with the pressures a bit? What you're describing may be from running them with higher than ideal pressure, i believe the pressures for this kind of bike should be around 29/29psi. If you're well over 30psi it's maybe too much for this weight of a bike
I just tore through a rear s22 on my cbr1000rr in 3k miles. Hard riding in the twisties and commuting to work. Great tires but they don’t last for crap. Save your money. I used to always run the gpr300s on previous bikes. I just bought a new one for the cbr. On my old street triple rs I got 7k miles out of a set hard riding. On my old busa I got 10k miles out of a set. A few 170 mph pulls on the gpr300s with zero issues. Tons of rain riding and hard twisty road riding. I’m not going back to hyper sport tires at all. They’re great but way too much money to only get a few thousand miles out of them.
