I first saw her at the Tower Theater in the mid 70's.We rode the Septa El Train its the last stop in Philly before you go into Upper Darby. The Train was packed and a young lady started singing this song before I knew it we were all singing it with her.Without question one of the (Greatest/Legend's Of Time)And I brought her first four album.
Hi Thanks for asking. I have to say I am not sure. When I was reading about the song I thought it was listed as metal. What do you think I should have used for the hashtag?
One of my alltime favorite songs, I was in college and was shocked when my roommate told me the origin of the group's name (basically, "Come see a concert to see a group with some well known members, but, we ain't gonna tell you WHO right now, just show, well, Blind Faith," lol). I was also surprised a few years earlier when I learned that the lead singer on "Gimme Some Lovin'" in the Spencer Davis Group, another fav of mine, was a scrawny white Englishman, lol (Windwood, of course).
I made these long videos to loop on TVs when I was in Leysin. I wanted them to play in the disco, but the "entertainment guy" did not like them. They have quadrupled my RU-vid views though.
Ha Ha, Yeah the cowbell is a little light on this mix. Comment your favorite cowbell song and I will make a short oh, and to keep you going until then you can search my channel for Rock Lobster - I am pretty sure there is cowbell in there. Thanks for commenting.
Ah yes, the 70’s, a time like no other. I would say the 60’s , 80’s and 90’s were pretty good too, but since then it seems like culture has evolved into chaos, we’re too busy. We’re too self centered. I guess I’m just grateful to have been born in the 60’s, social media today is having a negative effect on us. Slow down, ponder what your life purpose is, listen for God. I know, it’s hectic, just try to remember there’s more to life than work , work , work and detrimental indulgences. Know that God loves you.
My husband and I have seen black crows in concert in Baltimore, Maryland. When we got married, he dedicated the song, " She talks to Angels " to me when we first dated. We danced that song at our reception, In our kitchen, where the party was in the backyard! 💔 Rip Timothy! I miss you so much. ❤️
