Welcome!! I make videos and memories with my friends here, I don't have a whole lot to say here, we make videos that most people don't want to watch but we have fun doing it all the same
Not into touring of the malls? I did like the reminiscing you guys were doing as old visitors of the mall. Apparently you guys go way back with this one. The music was a little loud and not to my taste but overall not bad. I see all the familiar staples of FYE, Spencer's VS (and PINK), cell phone stores (and the cell phone case kiosks) so it doesn't seem like it's doing too bad. Though I guess when you look at the numerous giant empty storefronts it makes a little more sense. Yeah I suppose Amazon/Temu/online shopping has dominated the market and driven malls out of business. I've never been much for malls but I assume the offer of specialty items is no longer enticing when you have much more variety and lower prices online. They may need to shift to more in-person "offerings" if they want to stay relevent. I'm surprised this one is going under when the one nearest me is a lot smaller and doing just fine. Though I suppose it helps to have a military base and a university nearby. What they've done is actually opened a lot of restaurants on the outside in the parking lots in recent years. Something I haven't seen much of at other malls.
Oh yeah, we've been hitting this mall forever, I've been going to this mall since I was at least 4 years of age, so I've seen a lot of change, I preferably liked it better before the remodel but it is what it is. I'm not much a fan of "Mall touring" as you've seen I attended a few with bobby in the past and it really wasn't my thing, Music was royalty free which is why it sucked and i used a free movie maker to edit this which is in tern why the quality suffered a bit, so i'll take it into consideration for next video to tone it down and have a more focus on our voices. in terms of the mall's living situation, there's a whole other half of the mall that is basically empty its actually really depressing, we have 2 open restaurants in the food court and too many empty store fronts. :T you'd think our mall would thrive more given we have the coast guard academy and a navy base nearby but sadly even in this day and age you never see them at the mall anymore.
I liked the music but it was a little loud. I would've also like to hear what you guys were saying unless you were going for that artsy mysterious vibe. Other than that though it looked pretty nice. I liked all the info you added and the different angles you could see when you backtracked. It really is a beautiful luxurious mall and its sad to see it go. There is a mall like that not too far from me where really only the big anchor stores are left and the rest of the mall is abandonded. You can still go in and there are some stores on the inside but its truely ignored. I remember even going as a young kid Edit: I would be remiss not to mention the cameo of retired mall (tourist?, tour guide?), the notorious Bobby Gaines at 0:51 !
For future video's I can absolutely take that into consideration! I know for this video in particular i didn't have my normal setup which is why I put music and muted the clips, I'll do a reupload abridged where you can hear all the ridiculous things we were saying in these specific clips lol
Though I am going through some things now this song just isn't for me. I appreciate the thought nonetheless. I will also say whenever I see Kasane in that cardigan it kills any attraction I have for her.
I don't know who that is, but this is not how Sakura really sounded. They raised the pitch for some reason. Her real voice is pretty good, but it's just generic squeakyness now.
