I mean tbf I'm used to playing these types of games as I was obsessed with them as a kid 😄 although, with your ets2 stream it was fun to watch you annihilate every other vehicle in that game whilst consuming a melon 😆👍
Manufacturer Events take an insane amount of time and resources indeed. Farming the big reward races becomes basically mandatory because of how expensive Racing Modifications are. Gonna watch all of this as I work.
hello, about the GT40 in the Rome Circuit race, idk if that's a bug that happened bcs of the cheat codes I activated, or if this is something that usually happens and everyone already knew about that, but I used a cheat code that allowed me to use any car for any race (in the versión that is uploaded into Happy Chick platform), and if i used a much faster car like something with 200+ ~ 300+ hp over the GT40's power limit, that damn car would still be able to step right behind me, like for 2~3 seconds of distance, but if I commit various misses and is capable of surpassing me, it's speed would somehow decrease so it'll be easy for me to pass it again. If I use something like Toyota GT One, Escudo Pikes Peak, Nissan R390 Road Car with max tunning, TVR Speed 12 or any other super op car in this race, the GT40 will bite the dust quickly but still be ahead of the rest of the competition by like 1/3 ~ 1/4 of the circuit by the end of the race. And last but no less, if I let the bot do its job once the race is done, most cars will be defeated by the GT40 in one or two laps, except for the op cars, I mean, even the GT40 Race Car gets destroyed XD
Talk about sleepers, right? I like to keep mine without a racing modification because I think it's funnier to have a stock looking family wagon racing against some of the fastest cars in the game. Noticed how fast it was in the wagon races, checked the car and also decided to make a short video about it like you, I imagine xd
for some reason, my 037 is worth less than 40K when I try to sell it. And the Rome Night race is 5 laps long. Maybe it has something to do with the version of the patch I have?
You could argue that it wouldn't have been a proper Gran Turismo 2 launch, had there not been at least one game-breaking bug present. So in that sense too, good job everyone!
Run the 50/60FPS cheat on DuckStation, with 400% PS1 CPU overclocking. Because the game updates physics every other frame. So to have actually stable MR cars, you have to do that.
Thats a fair point, I'll definitely do that when playing the v1.1 of the game, I just went with the default settings originally since I really wanted to play the game straight away and didn't know how to run at 60fps 👍
In all my years playing Gran Turismo, I've never, NEVER had so much fear in my heart than when I saw the GT90 in that 2nd race of the US Nationals 2 days ago. I almost scream because of how freaking fast it was and because how easily it recovered from messing up at the Corkscrew on lap 2 to finish just about 0.3 seconds behind me. It was absolutely traumatic.
“Feels like I am slower than before” - the racing muffler boosts max hp, at expense it hurts lower power band that a weak car is going to spend a lot of time in. You need all the other improvements to get the most out of it.

I plan on playing this awesome mod sometime soon. I hope they make it to where there are reasonable race limits for more immersion. For example on cars 20 years old or older for Historic races, USA muscle cars only for muscle car cup etc. Also, upping the tuned power figures for muscle cars would be great because in reality they can make way more than 588 hp.
Yes! I'm using a PlayStation 1 emulator for it, planning on going through other games I've played in the past such as Pokemon emerald, but maybe like a challenge variant of it 🤔 also enjoying watching your minecraft adventures! glad it's taking off 😄👍
