@kingsbrakes7305 any advice when installing a holley to keep both windshields? I've heard some say that when installing they stop working due to making clearance for the holley
@@kingsbrakes7305so the Intake ports the same as stock ones ? Just curious I love that look makes it look I feel like it given you better throttle n helps it breath little better .
Can I buy this for my stock v8 2ss camaro just the intake itself or do I need to upgrade other components. Which one u think is better this Holley intake or the MSD intake??
Yeah you can get just the intake itself, in my opinion I prefer the msd. I had both and I like the simpler look. I wasn’t able to put it on a dyno to see exact differences etc, but unless you wanna run it without a hood the majority of the time I like the look of the msd
@@kingsbrakes7305 okay cool because ikk there is a sgenificante price difference so I wanted to know power wise but I’ll definitely wanted to cut my hood out but I’ll probably get the MSD intake first because I feel like if u have the Holley one it would be better to have the cam!
I would definitely want to know power difference thanks for getting back to me man I highly appreciate it I’m 19 and just got mine so going through upgrades
Might be a crazy question hope you respond but is that locktight on the screws and you just screwed in the holes you didn’t need ? And for the 3/8 gold fitting .. what hose goes on that ??? @kingbrakes7305
So on those screws it’s white plumbers tape for the fitting on the back you basically just wrap it around the fitting to make sure the manifold doesn’t pick up air. And the holes I didn’t need the hi ram came with the plugs so I just wrapped that tape around it to make sure no air was escaping/ getting sucked in. And the big fitting is the hose that connects to the brake booster it’s a vacuum hose you need it for the brake pedal it’s very important!
Do I re use my brake booster ( brake pedal vacuum line ? And if so is it a 1/2 fitting bc I have the 3/8 to 1/2 fitting .. is it just a snap on and on the far right passenger side ?? Thanks man HOPE U RESPOND that was my last question !!
@@BoostednovaSS you may have to adapt the line ! I just adapted it to fit I’m sure there is some type of fitting that can be snapped on but I just adapted a hose for it. And the biggest hole on the back of the manifold is for the vacuum hose!
@@kingsbrakes7305 so basically you got reused it or get one to fit that fitting . Fasten it down and that’s it I’m finished and that’s for the brake booster and my brake pedals and all right ?!
Yes exactly, I purchased the manifold without the option of the additional fuel rails. If you get the manifold with those extra fuel rails I’m not to sure if there’s a way to not use them tho
You just always have to constantly check the torque on the screws. I probably wouldn’t recommend daily driving them, but you can. They’re good tho I like them they look nice have good fitment and feel great while driving.
Hey I got a 19 Camaro ss I’m currently selling I’ll sell you mine. It’s got a stage 1 heads cam rotofab intake borla axle back carbon tips and lots of carbon fiber. And more.
@@kingsbrakes7305 scared me because I want to go with a Highram cam setup with room to possibly boost it later. Nothing big just want to walk hell cats is all
