Welcome to Hobby Robby! I build scale model kits of cars and tell you all about it :) Currently ordinary, rusty, neglected cars, but I also like racers like Formula 1, WEC, rally and Indycars.
I design and print a lot of 3D models which are available for download. Help to make this channel possible and get lots of goodies (3D models, high res reference pics, early build photos and updates, direct contact with me via DM) you can really use for your models! No shame in pausing with a build. I had to remind myself that, “I’m doing this because I enjoy building, I want it to continue that way.” Hope to see you continue this car eventually 🏁🎩
I’ve just started the very expensive De Agostini Millennium Falcon and I’ve never weathered anything. Let’s hope I learn something from your video as I’m very nervous 😂
Your attention to detail is mind blowing and also makes me feel bad about myself. I thought I was getting pretty good at this stuff but now realize I'm terrible. Fantastic work robby!
That's great work . But how come you haven't made any other videos. It shows one year ago was the last one . That make me very sad. Please put some more videos out. Educational videos are far and few. Keep up the good work . Oh yeah. Check out model war machine he is a great biulder. Peace.
What can I say - just great work. Wonderful. Perhaps you could have made the ivy a bit 'curly', more lively and messy. And I'd darken the pedestal with a patina, too. What is dark, old, is good... 🕸
Very awesome work! I do 1/24 scale RC rock crawling competitions and we do a lot of super scale stuff on and I learned a lot from your videos! If you ever want to make any money doing the hobby you love I’d be honored to rep something you created on one of my trucks!
Tell you What i think...OMG youKidDinG...YOUR AMAZING AND I THANK YOU, because here in Us..RI...YOu maKe my Work so mucH better...and the choices were SpOt On ..i dear say friend?...thank you
i was 4 years old when i was doing this to my hotwheels.. its literally in the name... id light them wheels up and squish it on the table. if people cant think as good as i can as a 4 year old then.. idk..
@@hobbyrobby I planned on blogging my builds too. But I do not enjoy the editing process.. and even filming makes modeling less enjoyable for me. I really enjoy your videos from your tiny shed thou!!
Great result, if you want a cheap, safe alternative to the glass micro spheres, brush on tiny amounts of cyanogen acrylate glue and sprinkle baking soda. It forms a hard crusty acrylic plastic that is perfect for rust texture and 1/10 scale.
That looks amazing. Just a tip, for US modelers, I use LA Totally Awesome (available in the dollar store $1.25 a quart) to remove my chrome. It takes longer, usually overnight, but no fumes, and it is much less dangerous than oven cleaner. I have to find an equivalent to your mayo tube, ours come in plastic bottles. Thanks for putting this up, Robby!
It's amazing. I did see there were other videos. Would like to have seen a little more detail in each area. Video is awesome but just kinda speedy. Like maybe a few more seconds of each aspect. I know it makes it longer but this is worth it and you had so many hours involved!!!!
Absolutely. I just saw them and haven't watched fully. Only skimming then saw this one. Watched it 3 times. Will go watch those too. Excellent work. I could only hope to get 1% as good as this.
