In the movie DESTINED. You can clearly see that Song Yi doesn't really like Bai Jing Ting.There is a plot by the movie industry to entrap Bai Jing Ting to Song Yi.There was a lot of dark evil moments in the movie where by it seemed that Bai Jing Ting life was in danger! Due to the harsh reality of Chinese culture. One scene is the drinking scene when Bai Jing played drunk and rested on Song Yi's shoulder saying some heartwarming words to her. But the strain in the neck of Song Yi shows, that Song Yi doesn't really want Bai Jing Ting to rest on her shoulder. she even shrouds Bai Jing Ting head and tried to move her shoulders away from him. That scene was very uncomfortable for her in the mix of that she makes a very quick eye contact to the screen to the direction who encouraged, coaxed her to accept Bai Jing Ting resting on her shoulders As to say "YES YOU'VE Entrapping HIM" (Entrapping someone that you really don't like!) The other scene is near the ending of the drama when Bai Jing Ting picks up Song Yi in his arms to spin her around. Song Yi was very stiff and looked really uncomfortable to have Bai Jing Ting hold her, or even touch her. There are many uncomfortable scenes but these two were chosen as they would have been very romantically portrayed by both actors if truly both actors were attracted to each other and were in a loving relationship with each other, and were dating each other! As you can see Bai Jing Ting played his character role perfectly and comfortably. Even though Song Yi never liked him, there is after all something called professionalism!
Bai Jing is a veteran and talented actor. He is capable for sang Yan characters. He is amazing. In each drama, he lives like the character. He is a chameleon actor as well
