Since most of the transport is concentrated in individual motorized vehicles in the USA, I wonder what role train writing plays in graff hierarchies in US cities nowadays? Here in Berlin, where I live, writings on the street receive a different form of recognition within the scene as a train does. On one hand it’s the technical difficulty of getting up on trains/buses/railcars as a writer, but also since roughly 3 million people (i.e. more than 75% of the residents) use our public transport everyday the visibility a piece gets is exponentially higher than a piece on a random street. I’d love to hear some voices of people writing in the US. Cheers from Germany
