There’s something beautiful and sad about stumbling across these old forgotten videos from a whole decade ago, when peoples’ outlooks on things were so different.
This is one of my favorite pieces of all time, seriously. I come back to it constantly. Thank you for 12 years of this. If I knew how to mod Skyrim I'd absolutely add this track to the game.
Crazy how this came out 7 years ago and Final Ascent by Hans Zimmer from the 2022 film No Time to Die sounds almost identical in some places. Amazing work. Shows how close to his work this really is. Awesome job.
Believe it or not, James Cameron was supposed to work on a Spider-Man film at one point, with Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role. His take on the Web-Slinger would've been more in the vein of *The Terminator* (1984) and *Aliens* (1986), in how they tried to depict how one would realistically react to all this ruckus if such fantasy was part of our reality. As such, I for one can just envision a score for such a more adult Spider-Film combining the harsh industrial synthetic edge of *The Terminator* by Brad Fiedel and the more orchestral horrific overtones and stingers of *Aliens* into each other as one. If you could create such an unofficial score, that would be awesome. Anyway, thanks for sharing this!
