Henderson Products is not a good place to work , if it was they would not be constantly begging for workers. Health insurance is a joke. No pension, no time 1/2 after 8 hours. Management does not respect the employees who build these trucks they constantly abuse and force 60-70 hr work weeks on the employees. Things are so bad here Management leaves 5 star reviews on their own jobs to help elevate the poor reviews posted by the employees.
I really wish there was a better video available for this plow. I’d like to put on on a 22 f-350 7.3 gas pickup before next winter but would like more details first
That's nice I wish are snow plows was like that are snow plows now you hit something hard it knocks everything off the dash or you almost hit the steering wheel if you don't have your seat belt on I hope soon we get that cutting edge good video
Trip edge plows are much easier on the road surface as well as the chassis and driver. Full trip plows have much greater force as the entire plow weight shifts during a tripping event. The trip edge design is much more calm as it strikes an obstacle such as manholes or street irregularities.
Rear mounted wings are becoming very popular in many areas. The Henderson Smart Link and HWS wing systems are available in traditional front of cab configuration as well as rear of cab configuration.
The point of the video to me...is to show how to PREVENT manholes and plows from being destroyed. Most drivers have found the raised manholes in their district the hard way...and they remember where they are to the inch. But there are always new drivers.
Do you guys think that the "City" cares about this...considering THEY DO THIS THEMSELVES when they plow streets? For whatever reason...there are always dozens of manholes that are not flush with the pavement. And the City deals with this issue each winter. Drivers hate it. When they hit the manholes with fixed plows...either the manhole top casting rips up...or the cutting edge gets a 24" chunk tore out of it. We plow over 1100 lane miles with 30 trucks...and this stuff happens.
