Exactly what i was looking for a video of the Snapper with Bagger cutting and sucking leaves! Still relevant in 2024. Thanks hope you're doing well. Lawn looked great btw
For a non-mechanical guy like me, this video was TERRIFIC!!! Clearly stated directions, great video to match the explanations and - because you got your rope on line - I know that I don't have to go to the Power Store for a replacement! Thanks Braden for one of most helpful videos I've seen on RU-vid!!!
Mine won’t even start like it won’t try to idle and I’m wondering if it’s the carburetor or the spark plug needs changed leave tips because I don’t know
My grandpa has the same weed eater and for some reason it can't be removed the head is stuck on and we've tried twice to remove it but it wouldn't budge what can be done to remove the head
I figured out how to do so. What I did is I grabbed an oil filter wrench. I was able to grab it perfectly with ease and twist it off. Let me know if this helps.
Considering a 48 and there is also a hydro Viking exmark in a 32 I believe Scag is a belt, very new to all this so my understanding of equipment needs to get caught up study wise
Not sure what I had it set on, but generally all my lawns, I cut all at the same height. So it’s not that much of a pain, but when you do change the height, you have to take the blades off and move the washers around.
Just a tip for you I would suggest to the customers to trim the hedges next time and then do the mulch I done it backwards plenty of times but I finally learned mulch is last
I see they changed the colors on the newer ones. They sold that same heater for years as a 75,000 btu output and now without changing any of the internal parts, they have it rated at an 80,000 btu unit? How? I took mine apart (to clean the fuel jet nozzle) and noticed it stamped 75,000 btu! I guess 75,000 btu wasn't selling them, so they raised it up and painted them a different color. Funny how that works.
A message from Dorset UK. You saved me a lot of time. Without your video I would have gone in like a bull in a china shop and removed the centre bolt to get to the mechanism. That would have have been a right balls up. So cheers, nice one. 👍
I know this video is a couple years old, but I really appreciate the simple and straight forward demonstration. You made this easy to follow and I was successful at replacing the rope on my first try!
Growing up as a kid I always followed behind my dad with a toy lawn mower when he cut the grass. I loved watching the landscapers cut my neighbors lawns and these mowers are a top notch memory
I can never get my Snapper to idle. I have fiddles with this and that, but every time I go to idle it just shuts off. Some ideas would be nice. I removed and cleaned the carburetor....
@@Bradenmorrismowing Nice! That actually did it. New fuel with some additive and it cleaned up my idle nicely. Didn't have to go back into the carb. BOL! Thanx!
That’s a nice 48 scag walk behind I want a 32 scag walk I used a 32 bobcat walk behind they cut good and everything but a Scag is driving me attention I don’t know why maybe the color and brand quality of the Scag.👍
Thanks for putting this video up! Helps a lot! More perspective: $360 for 6 hours of work, you hit your hourly rate! In the Richmond,Va area I’ve charged same price for 5 10’x7’ hollys and another 6 smaller 3’x3’ shrubs. Took about 3 hours total. The walking distance was super short from flowerbed to trailer it was about 30’. There was also more spacing between the shrubs so being able to lay tarps before trimming helped with the clean up. 🎃
I like Scag mowers nice and orange color I work in landscaping we use 32 inch bobcats and Wright stander n toro they cut good but I want to drive 32 scag mower .
