you made a tier list and you didn't even test all of the abilities? so you just made a video reading the abilities and taking a guess if they are good not.. LOL great content /s
So I see a lot of people complaining. I hadn't focused on offline play until yesterday, why not just save points ? I am starting with SDSU. And I'm gonna focus on recruiting up to where I feel comfortable and then gonna save up points for when I can unlock other tiers.
CEO is hot garbage, not nearly enough in it to make it worthwhile, and most of them are no longer relevant by the time you get to it. As for the insta commit, I have seen several videos of people who have had insta commits without having this perk, so seems like it increases the chances rather than it being impossible without. To make it worthwhile, adding the dev trait from strategist, although it would basically make that whole trait otherwise useless.
I go Tactician 1st, helps you win now, then recruiter year 2 to build the future.. within those, i dont spend points in recruiting K/P and in tact i dont waste points in OL/DL one
If you get the offseason training boost for all positions in motivator, it helps SO MUCH when the players train bc they level up so much and it’s half your team getting better. I’ve ended up getting 130 SP in one offseason lol
I generally like the progression system and the way it's set up, except for master recruiter. By the time you have two top-5 classes (which does make sense as something that gives you "master recruiter" status, you don't need it anymore. You're already capable of signing multiple five-stars in a recruiting class. Dropping the requirement to, like....4 top-25 classes or 2 top-10 or 15 classes might make it more appealing.
I wish we at least had the option to increase the max level. I understand the realism aspect, but at the end of the day, it's a video game. If i want to be good at everything, then let me. If i want to challenge myself and limit my abilities, then also let me. I also wish i could manually spend my coordinators points where i want them and also manually upgrade my players instead of having them spend their points on whatever the hell they want
If you are winning your conference consistently Architect paired with Motivator is maybe the strongest combo in the game. I’ve had Impact development Redshirt Seniors hit 93 overall with that combo. The main factor in a kid’s ceiling is in the ratings caps. Being able to take away even a couple is a big deal and I’m on average removing all but 4 or 5.
How about a setting where you control your whole staff, can keep them together, and choose what they upgrade. That way you can build each coach differently and not 1 of your coaches are the best at everything
They really need to either up the max level for coaches or lower the price of some of these skill trees. With the total amount of points you get you can essentially pour a lot into maybe two trees and then have a couple points left over. This paired with the no skill reset really limits what you can do as a coach. Still having fun though, just wish it were slightly better
Agree 100%, I came into this thinking I could make the greatest coach of all time, but I can’t now I’m stuck at lvl 44 wishing I saved my points on something else
It would be interesting if they replaced the one year hot seat ability in CEO with an unlock in CEO for 18 points or whatever that unlocks "Elite Coach" which raises the max level by X levels, would make CEO a must get, and reward players for getting multiple National Championships, while simultaneously locking out the majority of coaches in the game from also just having an extra X amount of points (every small school becoming a powerhouse). Might be game breaking for online dynasty though. =/
I usually have one guy with a bunch into recruiting and a second guy with an even split of yellow and blue. That way my HC, which is all in recruiting and program builder, I can double up on recruiting and get some of the yellow and blue perks.
I wish somebody would release a thing showing just how much an ability does. How much extra influence per 10 hours spent in master recruiter? Just how big of a boost is in tier 3 of motivator? I just feel like more detail would help with choosing what abilities to go for.
yeah exactly. In a mode where you can't respec just vague words like "increase" isn't enough, i want hard math. Tell me exactly how much of an increase, and how much having stacking coaches benefits me. I've fully specked into Architect trying to get rid of skill caps, and as far as i can tell even when you go undefeated and win the title it rarely ever raises any caps. So that "chance" feels like a 1%
@@Jon-ld3jl I have all of my coaches with tier 3 in all positions in motivator and it just seems like there isn't a boost at all. It's pretty infuriating.
Idk if it's a glitch or just random but you can get insta commits without the CEO ability. I had a 5 star recruit insta commit to me (year 2) as UCLA cuz I was there number 1 school. It doesn't happen often but I've seen it a few times
The fact you can't reset your skill tree like NCAA 14 is just crazy. If you take a lower rated program to a 4.5 star program you wouldn't want the same skillset.
Had to start a new coach just for that reason , kinda sad about it but the grind was fun and is still fun honestly but wish that was a feature at least once per coach
@@billcollector2248 just put it on the fastest XP setting and go to team schedule and force wins and don't spend any points. Once you max out on points save your game under another name and keep that for when you want to start over. Usually takes 3 or 4 seasons. I'm not grinding again.
@@OriginalKanyeTPain I don't get yall. Like I don't play games for realism all the time. Not everybody wants to grind all the time. I'm an Engineer I do enough of that at work. If you want to be an actual coach go be one but a game should fit both realism and fantasy if the user wants it to be. If you want 99 overall for every player or a garbage team that's fine. It's a game.
Win 4 games, bare minimum 4 years... Um.... Should I tell him? I shouldn't need to tell him right? "Recruiter is better than Motivator" *places motivator in same tier*. Lol yea, guy is wack
Great info but I must say whoever is playing in the back ground gameplay is fucking horrible at the game 😂 like the reads are so bad I can’t even ignore it
As someone who’s made it to CEO having the insta commit is so nice, just got my first #1 class because I had 5 insta commits which saved me scout points to put into other players.
@@jamiehall7188it’s only on players that have you as their top school and it’s probably like 10% on average from my experience so far. Which if you’re constantly updating your board throughout the season, it’s likely that you’d offer at least 50 scholarships in total, so five insta commits wouldn’t be too unusual. First full season with the skill and had a 4* instantly commit in the preseason and another 4* in Week 0
@@jamiehall7188 You really don't need it. I'm literally simulating the game on XP coach on fastest and not spending no XP points. Of course I'm forcing wins but recruiting in this game is easy as long as you win most teams won't spend 50 points on recruits. Only reason I'm doing this is to have a game to start off with all points and try out different skillsets from the coaching tree. Developing talent is probably the most important skillset.
my first dynasty i didn’t know there was no max level i literally put my points only into recruiting and i thought when i max out recruiting then i would spread around
Really like the direction this game is headed in, just imagine 26 & 27 this a good foundation to build off of, dynasty is super detailed & I can only see it getting better along with the gameplay, the wear and tear system would be good for a realistic shooter game too or GTA idk seems like it’s something other games should use as well
You must be new to EA. There is only one direction EA Sports games move and that's backwards lmaooo. This is probably the best CFB game we'll get for the next decade 😂😂😂
Maybe this is me being a hater, but what is the point of doing a tier list if over half of the abilities are in the same tier? You didn’t utilize any D or F tier spots. Bump the lower ones down and maybe differentiate 6/11 abilities? If you truly think they are all equivalent that’s fine but I just find that unlikely
Got program builder and ceo before elite recruiter from my limited experience it still comes down to having a schedule where you can win most of your games everything else will fall in line
Architect won't take too long if you play in the MAC since almost every school in the MAC has at least two rivals within the conference, and the 10 points you sped to unlock Motivator or Tactician count toward the 25 you need to spend,.
The strategist tree that takes 4 bowl wins can be done in two years if you can win a national championship that is 3 and win any other bowl or first playoff game your 2nd year
The costs of some of these perks really go to show how half baked this dynasty mode is, I hope they keep working on it, instead of fully abandoning for CUT.
@@devonpack906 that takes away the whole idea of specializing in areas, I’d rather them just give us more coach levels and more coach points so we can actually get some things in ceo and program builder
Definitely would have to build a schools identity as for a Pro farm for certain positions or like a program that just always has a good team and able to win year in and year out but doesn’t have big name players or your school always produce great players in a certain position. I like the idea of the skill tree just need some more work and IDK what it is . Because they game from what I’ve seen is to easy or people can just be playing on a low difficulty lol (which I’m seeing a lot 😅😭) but if your playing in heisman I can HFA and the composure for aways games being affective and also getting your player drafted and increasing pipeline Exp is amazing
I think the green gem means the player is underrated and is one star level better than he actually shows. The red gem means he is a bust and he is one star level lower than he shows. You can scout players development in one of the coach trees, it's not in the recruiter tree though. I can't recall which tree atm. The better a players dev trait the faster they will gain XP and abilities
The green gem means they have an above normal development trait. This can be either impact, star, or elite. This means that player will go up in overall faster. The ones with the red x through the gem just means they are normal development. They can still be great players, but won't go up in ratings as fast as green gems.
@@robertmajors1737not true , i tested this last night i had a 5 star “bust” with the red x through the gem and he came out with an impact development trait i also had a 4 star “bust” and he came out with a star development trait , my experience is that the green gem means there is a higher chance at an better dev trait but its not guaranteed to be elite or star but an increased chance to get star or elite where as the bust means you have a higher chance at getting normal dev trait but again it’s not a guarentee, im currently testing on whether or not the green gem and red bust have any effect on the amount of level skill caps for the player
The ability where you have a chance for an insta commit for recruits that have you 1st in interest is defintely worth it. The rest of CEO is underwhelming.
