72,000 people at Wembley. No sound check before going on, and the crowd were not all Queen fans (lots of other acts performing on the day) yet Freddie Mercury commanded them all! Freddie had a throat infection that day and was advised by doctors not to perform...and he STILL nailed it!! Queen stole the entire show!! And as for the guitarist...not bad for a home made instrument!!
I was 10 or 11 when I first heard ths. Never had a relationship but maybe this is an early indicator that I'm gonna grow up as an empath. Bawling my eyes out on a song I should have no idea about. Or maybe they just made the song so greatly.
OH! You’re wearing a Green Day shirt!! Search on here for Green Day bohemian rhapsody. There is a great video of a massive crowd of like 50,000 (probably more) people waiting for Green Day to come on stage. They have a camera behind the drums and Bohemian Rhapsody starts playing and every person sang the song. You can understand them. It’s magic. Do it.

I think Wembley had over 75,000 that day and billions world wide. It was the first simulcast. I remember it well. It was historic.❤ Queen brought the house down. They still do, to this day. None better. Only one Freddie.❤️
Killing himself, the old man that he had so much trouble he had putting with the man his family expected him to be. Hence the shadow of the man later in the video.
We will rock you and we are the champions released in 1977 as side B and A of a single and part of the album News of the world. Lucky enough to have grown up with all these bands (Led Zep, Genesis, Rory Gallagher and so on, the list is long 🤩) So nice to see younger people enjoying the "old bands". Blessing from France
