I find that the brand old fashion is more of a product of Wisconsin. And specifically the Wisconsin club genre.. I have to blame my father, my real biological father, so there’s no misunderstanding for my particular love for a good old-fashioned. But I could never even take a drink out of his because he liked his on the sweet side, which kind of ruined it for me he’s been gone for 11 years, but if he popped in and wanted to have a drink one day, I probably wouldn’t say no..
I generally freak out when I see little kids on video because I just think it leaves your family so vulnerable. And you’re a little one is an absolute heartbreaker. I realize that you are halfway around the world while you’re making this and I know you do everything to keep your family safe and sound. But you can tell she gets her beautiful looks from her mother and boy boy in about 15 years. I can see the double shotguns mounted over the front door which is our way of saying she’s a lovely little girl.
To both of you, I kind of stumbled onto this on a Saturday afternoon when I had a very large job was just gonna keep me in one place most of the afternoon, so I listen to it all. First off both of you did a phenomenal job, second of all, where were you in 1975 I’m reasonably sure if you weren’t infants, you may not have even been on the planet. this was very powerful and I wish that someone would’ve taken the time to have a seminar that I could’ve attended. I grew up in the middle of protests, the Vietnam war and free love. There was no you save yourself for your husband or your wife. Sex was just sex. It was fun, no one saw what it could do to the future or how it could ruin your future. We just went about our merry way. I taught my children completely differently because I grew up in sex drugs and rock ‘n’ roll. I know I told my daughter out of having a relationship that was headed in that direction, when she was a junior in high school. My brother God rest, his soul talked. my son out of a relationship that would’ve caused him an incredible amount of problem. In fact the morning after he did what he was told not to do he called my brother and said oh my God how did you know that was going to happen. How did you know in 12 hours? My entire life was going to change with my relationship with this person who I have known for four years. He was stunned my son not my brother Mark said I told you this would happen. I know how women think I’m older than you I know things you don’t know I used to say not only to my kids but to my Boy Scouts and my Girl Scouts the only difference between me and you is that I’ve been where you are right now and I know what happens, I always considered myself an extremely liberal person until I had children was amazing how conservative I got so quickly. Both of you gentlemen did an outstanding job. I know I already said that but you did. I wish I had had the opportunity to hear it in 1975. I wish my children would’ve had the opportunity to hear it in 2002.. God bless you both. Nick, as you travel around the world, carrying God‘s word to places that are indeed quite dangerous and you father Mike well I’ll see you in the morning for mass. You’ve had a lot of extra responsibility put on your shoulders in the last year, but I truly believe that you have the interior, strengths and love of the Lord that your project will be successful, you know I know we’ve talked about that and I hope that I get a chance when it’s all said and done I’m around to see it. I remember international male, because I’m quite much older than you father. I can even remember it being like my husband‘s favorite thing to pick clothing out of. He thought he was somebody he wasn’t. He traveled for a living, and there were a great many women along the way, who thought he was exactly who he thought he was because they didn’t live with him. We should all be blessed with someone like you as our best friend I know that you do missionary work with your family and you obviously your wife, I will keep your family in my prayers that you are always safe as you undertake some of the scariest places in the world to go to spread the word of God. It is October 2023. I found this because I was searching for that scene in Jesus of Nazareth (the movie) where Jesus says to Peter that he's the church, I will build my church on the rock, etc. And one of the suggested videos was your talk on it. So I listened to that, then I listened to more. And as you're talking about the prodigal son I realize that tears are falling down my cheeks. It's not because I'm a prodigal son in any sense, I haven't run away from Jesus (at least lately), I've never turned my back on God even when I thought He'd forgotten my name. I knew the conclusion, I know the story, heard it a million times but I'd never heard it that way. I went to bible college, I married a pastor, I've been in ministry since I was 16 and I'm 64. And I have never heard it put that way. I tell you all this because I want you to know that 4 years later God is still using you. And my children don't know Him. So I pray. And I am encouraged. Thanks for letting His call on you do its work. Be encouraged because I heard God speaking and explaining to me. He still is using you through what you said 4 years ago. Of course He is.
If you are truly interested about what the day in the life of a Secret Service agent is who is on the presidential protection detail, I can highly recommend five books written by Clint Hill. He was on the presidential family detail for JFK. If you look at the Zapruder film he is the agent that is climbing up the back of the car when Mrs. Kennedy is trying to, and this really hurts to say pick up a piece of her husband’s head that had been blown off. I was six years old when that happened and I was in the hospital and I couldn’t understand why my mom was crying. I also couldn’t understand why because of course this was in 1963 so the television at the hospital cost a nickel an hour, but all the televisions were on and they were all free which I didn’t understand and of course there were no cartoons. Everything was Kennedy. As it should be, but Mr. Hill will take you on a ride. He was Secret Service for five presidential details and the toll that it took on his life, his marriage, and his psyche. He is straight forward. He pulls no punches he tells you exactly what it is so if you truly are interested, this is the man you need to read. Since I’m writing this in 2023, there’s a book out by Paul Landis, that is called the final witness. He took the lone bullet out of the back of the car where the president was assassinated. He moved it. He took it. He wrapped it in a handkerchief and put it gurney where the president was, and he is just now at 88 years old, telling his story . Read any of the Clint Hill Books. They are amazing and very honestly written.
When I was married, and we would go out for dinner generally with a group of people if there was a possibility of getting duck, I always got it. And of course my ex would when we got home if the kids were still up and they better not have been but they were he’d say mommy Donald for dinner. The one time I ordered venison it had a blueberry colui and of course, when we got back from that business trip, the kids found out that Mom ate Bambi for dinner.
This has been such a crummy day that if I could, and I can’t, I would be kicking back in my recliner with even though I am from Illinois a Wisconsin old fashion, which of course you know it’s made with brandy and not whiskey. I have to blame my father for this even know he’s been gone for 10 years because he used to let me have the cherries out of the bottom of the drink when I was a little kid. Unfortunately age and the medication that comes with it prohibits me from enjoying the drink right now. Although you will all go ahead and enjoy it for me.

Exactly. I used to think of porn like all other forms of entertainment because it was all sexual. Listening to guys speak about women is what really made me think "ew", though not necessarily because I think entertainment or stimulation is bad, but GUYS ARE GROSS. To be fair to all females, guys will attempt to sexualize and degrade us no matter what. I can't walk down the street without people talking about my lips. Which is why I don't wanna stop using masks 😂 Considered wearing a burqa but it's hot as hell here, guys are just gonna have to grow up 🤯

I think those relationships with guys that never went anywhere cause I'm what they call "prude" kind of messed me up cause I'd just end up with a pretend brother or husband and I'm soooooo into it. Dating leaves so much to be desired. Had to quit. All of my guy friends have been better than anyone I dated. I feel for them though cause they get stuck with me behaving like some kind of wife mother type but get no action. "Ut oh, she's upset again. I should apologize." 😂
I'm so twisted I'd probably be like "here we are, our wedding night, let's just stare at eachother for the rest of our lives cause I won't survive being pregnant every year until I'm 50" 🤯😬

I actually have a picture I took of a Cambodian gas station along the side of the road similar to this in the Siem Reap area. I was amazed that their gas is mostly just in bottles -- even plastic, as I recall! Now it makes more sense to me since a lot of folks are driving scooters like y'all and so there's not the same need for the big stations that we have with pumps. I assume they reuse the bottles, yes? Thanks for sharing this!
Yikes! How you all have intact internal systems is a miracle! I bet it took a wihle for your stomachs to adjust. Glad you travel with your own doctor. The sacrifices you all are making for the good of others are much admired and appreciated. I pray for all missionaries daily.
Great talk. Where did She get her theology and philosophy degrees.? I have been looking for a good catholic college to undertake the same courses via distance learning.
