triMirror has developed the first real-time solution in the world that allows the try-on of real clothes on real-dimensioned and highly customizable avatar bodies, and which allows the user to see where the garment is tight or loose, where it juts out or sags down, and how it behaves when they move around in various ways.
uDraper is out latest solution that includes Unreal Engine real-time cloth simulation plugin and 3D clothes designer. Try it out at udraper.com
Can't believe this is like... the only video explaining this and I have so many questions.... Like, does this work for hair simulations as well? can I change the scale of my character and animations after the cache without the hair or cloth screwing up?
Actually this functionality is a bit outdated. You might want to use the native UE geometry cache functionality. See ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0eQbIvclScQ.htmlsi=uS3Os2H0mvPoQFQs. It only works with uDraper clothes, not the hair.
@@triMirrorTV hey man thanks for the reply, do you happen to know a way to cash out the hair simulations? I'm trying to get it to be basically a mesh cache that I can scale up and down freely without having to worry about my simulations screwing up on me
Hey. This tool is amazing. During the process I had a problem. When I record simulation, dress and body looks perfectly in same position. But when I add catche to the sequencer, it comes with little rotated and little changed position. I fixed with catche’s location and rotation. But I wondered why this happend. Btw this tool saved my days during the project. Because I was fighting with Marvelous. Thanks a lot! 13:04
Are you importing from Marvelous Designer? You can use the new workflow for more reliable import. Please see other tutorial and use our Discord for technical support
There is this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0eQbIvclScQ.htmlsi=iiH--DOMtZQ8u5Mk. Also, you've welcome to our Discord discord.gg/CZsQVe4Y9Q
Certainly you can use it for commercials. If you're an independent creator, you can use the Indie license. If you need to simulate complex garments, you'll be safer with the Cinematic simulation. Get a free trial and check it out.
I am losing my mind to find a solution to this, it has never been asked anywhere before, how can I make the cloth simulation work in movie render queue? When I render it shows them stiff piece of actors, no simulation works. I added both wind and cloth to sequencer, works fine on sequencer when simulate is activated, but when I render it does not simulate
Thanks. When importing using MD button we can read additional metadata that are lost in OBJ files. Also it helps to avoid errors when importing OBJ manually.
@@triMirrorTV Thank you for reply. I watched very carefully but i didnt see your export extension in Marvellous designer. In this case, should we export as MDD? edit: no way its animation extension. json also doesnt work, when i try to impor in unreal engine as md, it says "unable to export to a folder with unrecognized content Please clean this folder concent manually"
@@acmeydan we automatically export the information that we can read and apply to our materials and simulation. If you specify a folder for importing that contains other files, we ask you to delete them manually so you won't lose any valuable information. Alternatively, select an empty folder for imported data.
@@triMirrorTV thanks again, now I understand wow its great:)) I must say, yesterday this was happent and I thougt my computer was hijacked and afraid:))
помогите пожалуйста как сделать силует мерсонажа метахьюмен? на нем уже вся одежда есть и как сделать анимацию чтобы она бегала и можно было поменять персонаж на нее а не с базового персонажа?
is this working with custom made avatar? I made my own avatar in blender and im trying to use udraper but when i import MD and notthing appear just a avatar no clothes
Yes it should work with any skeletal meshes. Just be aware about the number of vertices, use LODs if needed or custom colliders. See also an example with CC4 avatars. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6x_ljZD1bOE.htmlsi=Ux3hJtNvuhnhfmxv
Yes, it's possible but less convenient. The mesh must also be single, weld, and thin if you want to simulate it. Also, when importing, select the Skip validation option. You can also try without simulation as shown here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_C-TM8B202w.html
Hi after enabling uDraper plugin it messes with my game mode. My cursor doesnt integrates with the game mode anymore. Do you know anything that could help me?
You can add the Draper Interaction component to your Draper Simulation component. Uncheck the cursor and see if it helps. See cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/3390/6418/files/2024-03-09_14-58-59.jpg?v=1710014399 Also, join our discord for easier support
Hello, I'm starting the trial version, I'm excited to buy it but I have a lot of problems with the LOD, is there a metahuman character ready (Mesh)? Or should everyone make one?
Hi, I tried following these steps with clothes I bought on Artstation, most worked but I got an error message on one outfit that said - Error occurred: path resolution failed. I’ve checked that everything was done right, do you have any idea what could be wrong?
There are many ways to do it. Animating in Marvelous Designer not always easy. You need to try it out. We think this solution will cut your production time. If you're happy with animation in MD, by all means stick with it.
It works the same as for Marvelous. see e.g., ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1I1zTOw97lQ.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b7y69g6a0vA.html also this page: udraper.com/blogs/tutorials/using-clothes-from-marvelous-designer-and-clo
Thanks 😊 there are two ways to do it. For complex clothes , check out the uDraper Cinematic: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yd_r3G3VJ30.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1I1zTOw97lQ.html
Particle distan 12 is very low quality resulting in very poor details. Also, I noticed that you are not usig thicknes that gives much more realisti cloth details. If these two things could be solved, then that would be amazing. What are your thoughts?
