You should not buy a Silhouette Mint machine, the company that manufactures the buffer sheets has stopped manufacturing the sheets. Indeed, the company CASIO stopped manufacturing consumables for the MINT machine in 2023, it's RUBBISH!!!
Hi there, I am not entirely sure what you mean by the drawing papers? Transfer tape is used with vinyl. If you are using writable vinyl I would suggest to not use transfer tape as it will affect the writing.
Is the vinyl peelable once its on? If so, what sealants do you recommend? I want to make my own car window decal but I want to use a sealant after I transfer it onto the window so no one can just scratch or peel it off
Vinyl does not need a sealant over the top nor do I recommend it. It will actually cause the vinyl to bubble and peel up. It is fine to leave it as is.
I’ve been trying to get the paper backing off my transfer tape for nearly a hour and still haven’t even managed to raise a corner. I would appreciate a hack for that.

I had not done vinyl lettering in some time......and I forgot I needed the transfer tape (and how to use it)....UGH!! glad I remembered about this before mailing the vinyl letter/gift. Your video was PERFECT!
The SVG file turns into a square at the last step. It reads everything perfectly, the design is there through the whole process, but when i press "upload" it turns into a fully filled in black square. Any thoughts on how to combat this?
I am sorry that you are having issues with the SVG. I just downloaded it again and was able to upload it into Design Space. Can you look and see what type of file it is being downloaded as? You may have pop-ups blocked so it is not downloading correctly.
Do you have any idea how this holds up once washed? Id like to make my son a personalized towel for his week long baseball tournament & it will of course be washed and used again and again while he is there. Worried it will start peeling off. I'm a beginner so I'm still learning the ins and outs. 😊 Thanks for the helpful video!
I am so sorry that has happened. It can be tricky at first to get the hang of it. I suggest selecting more pressure while cutting. and roll the sheet after it has been cut. it will release some of the edges.

Did I miss the part about cleaning surface with alcohol before applying or do you consider unnecessary? Also, how would you recommend using linerless when shipping to someone to use?
