My husband had to have multiple resumes for different types of jobs using a variety of keywords to maximize potential hits. Knowing how to transfer skills is important, knowing how to phrase it for the hits is even more important!

@The Wharton Fam They absolutely are a joke. It could be months before you find a job the way they set it up for y'all. Something else they don't tell you is the VA don't prorate so if you expect disability and you want your checks faster, do not plan to ETS on the last day of the month. You get "backpaid", so your checks are always for the month ending, nlt beginning. If you ETS 31 May, your VA effective date is 1 June. You don't get paid for June and your first check isn't til August (for July). Another hardway horror story that we warn folks about now.
