Are they always this boring live? I wish the clean vocals didn’t sound like absolute poof. So many great, technical bands out there like these guys, monuments, tesseract, all with amazing musicians and then when the clean vocals come someone’s balls got snipped. A fuking shame..
Super impressed they played this live! First run-through is always going to be tricky, and playing something this hard at the end of the night makes it even harder! Spencer may not have nailed the middle section (difficult as hell to do right) but he definitely nailed the ending!
I love how at this show, unlike shows from the last few years, they had Nollys bass track as loud as it should he. It just doesn't sound the same without it
Im in the middle of this crowd! This was my first concert ever, I told myself that if anything would get me to go, it would be Periphery headlining. This was a lifechanging experience 😭
Glad you enjoyed it ❤ My first concert was iron maiden 2018 (on the day of my 18th birthday) in Croatia, it was right after the world cup and I remember bruce saying "ay...it was a really really good game of football lads" and everyone was screaming their lungs out. Best.Summer.Ever
He can hit it but the problem his in ear monitors were fucked so he couldn't hear himself all night. You'd be surprised how much that fucks with any musician, even drummers, let alone singers who need it the most
It’s absolutely insane to write yourself a phrase where the "bottom" note is a Bb5 😭 it sounds unreal on the track , the man is amazing in the booth. I never hold it against him when he can’t hit it live, but also wish he would take it easier on himself sometimes when writing.
@@speeddemonji9547 As I've mentioned above, this was the last song in the setlist of 11 songs. So his voice was pretty much toast when this song came up
@@thomas12997 iirc he doesn’t sing these notes in the healthiest way but either way it does sound also like tech issues cuz you can barely hear what he does end up singing anyway
Going to see them in milan in January, I hope they are still playing Satellites as it is my favorite Periphery song as well and I would hate to miss it
I cannot begin to express my excitement when I saw Mark's Instagram story practicing this song. This is my favourite Periphery song, and I'm so glad they're playing it live! Now they need to do Absolomb live and my life will be complete! I know why they probably won't but I'd still love to see it. That would be hype!
@@bpweberany problems, weird noises or anything notable arise after this happened? i just did something similar in my brand new civic si and i’m beyond paranoid… literally can’t even sleep right. car runs and drives fine and everything seems to be in order but i’m scared there’s internal damage that i’ll never realize or that something will pop up down the line as a result of what i did.
Meant to reply earlier, but, no I really haven't noticed anything new or weird after this happened. Car is still running well, I'm still daily driving it and have over ~145k miles on it at the moment.@@alexhaggar2657
