This book for me is one of the most horrendous autobiographies and very disturbing. Also, I think that it is common knowledge that St. Faustina was mentally ill and had many delusions and emotional issues. Most people today understand that she needed psychological help and didn't get it. So, read with caution and read with that perspective.
Please repent and turn to Jesus. Mary can't save you. Only Jesus can. Mary was a fallen human just like any other. The Bible says ALL have fallen short. Only Jesus is worthy.

I have never understood how a woman could wear a swimsuit with just a thin string going up the Crack of her butt and holding up with the same thin string with just a patch of fabric to cover the front. I have too much respect for myself to show that much of my body to strangers.
I know it makes me sick on how women dress now. But then I was raised in the 50s. Women and girls just wear dresses and skirts. My mother never dressed me in jeans. Only my brothers wore them. I saw a woman at Walmart the other day in a one-piece stretchy pant outfit. It was so tight on her that you could see everything. Plus, it was flesh in color. I do wear shorts but they are just above my knee or capries. Dresses or skirts for church.

Women loves attention, to look sexy. Why else would they want to wear revealing clothes, other than to feed there own lust. It definitely causes men to sin much more. And you don't think you've got a big part to answer to the thousands or maybe millions of sins caused by your actions. It's hard enough sometimes without having these women to put more temptations onto us. Mother Angelica once said, if a woman dies in a plane crash wearing a mini skirt, does she really think she's going to heaven. Most people are in hell because of the sins of the flesh. We lose track to where our main goal is. "Jesus" reconciliation and the Eucharist.
After my pilgrimage in Our Lady of Guadalupe, I felt the urge to wear a veil. Our lady has given me courage to wear it and sometime it makes me feel like I am the bride of Christ upon wearing it. Veiling is like imitating our Blessed Lady and upon wearing it you feel like you are one on one with Jesus during the mass.
You are so right we can't control everything people think or even say what the way we dress does send a message I had the most beautiful day today I was wearing a spaghetti strap dress colors gray white and turquoise and it had a palm tree in the middle of the dress I wore a white shirt underneath a dress when I walked by a group of men I greeted them saying God bless you they all responded with joy one guy even said may God bless you forever and ever then another guy gave me a fist bump and even a hug I couldn't believe it I was trying to control myself and maintain composure as I was walking down the street I knew I had to make a change because I would wear those biker shorts and I had to literally fuss I couldn't even walk in peace as car every time I turn around a car would stop I will constantly get the cat calling but not anymore even when I was at the park my modest wardrobe a guy was in the car and as he stopped at the stop sign he looked at me and blew a kiss it wasn't nothing sexual it was like a kiss saying I adore you
The step parent needs to be reminded as often as possible that they are not the REAL parent...they exist for the other person...the kid had no choice in the matter for the adults choices. Its all gross and horrible for children.
I prefer seeing women in dresses & skirts because they accentuate their figures and make them look more feminine. I also prefer women with feminine hairstyles. You are right to say that modesty in dress is a positive thing.
It's interesting that my sister got married at the age of 20, today she is 23 and has two children that she gave birth to on her own, and that's how it is with us, so why should we take other children??
As a man I recently have started wearing sport coats, dress pants and suits again, immediately I felt more masculine! It is an absolute breath of fresh air to see there's still feminine women left out there!
You are like an angel. Young people like yourself, energetic with an open heart to the truth, are the best proof how false the allegations were to implement the many changes to the church discipline since, as the modernists said, the "man of today" has undergone a dramatic change which makes him so much different from all other ages of history. It's all so much a lie. The future of catholicism is in leaning back to our holy tradition with having a recourse to the fullness of the riches of the catholic faith, the one and only divine revelation in history.
I'm not sure what your name is but it's so refreshing to hear your thoughts on this very important subject. I love wearing dresses, because they are so beautiful and bring glory to the Lord. However I also wear pants, but make sure that I look as feminine as possible when I wear them.
Hi Amber. Love the Q&A, thank you. I learned from the book of Mary of Agreda, "the mystical city of God", that Mary Magdalene was not really a prostitute. She was the type of girl that went to all the parties, the worldly life style, she loved to show off jewelry, her nice clothes, be in the center of attention (and gossip), and that of course, is the way to sins of impurity. Contrary to what Hollywood makes us believe, she was not into prostitution. At least, that's what Mary of Agreda tells us, her book has been Church approved. It's not mandatory stuff or anything, you don't have to believe it as a Catholic, but if you guys are interested, this has a pretty decent level of trustworthiness.
Pants is a British word for underwear so I was a little perturbed why you weren’t wearing underwear during Lent. All is clear now. I agree. I feel more feminine wearing dresses and skirts. It’s all I ever wear and I celebrate the difference in God’s creation by embracing my femininity when I do ❤
Rock climbing, the gym, climbing trees, these things seem restricting to wear a dress. So im still going to wear pants /shorts occasionally. I like to be active and free to play with my children outside without my flowy skirt getting ripped on a branch or have to lift it up walking up stairs etc too impractical for everyday for me..
I’ve had that same feeling for a couple of years now, of being drawn to wearing dresses and skirts. For the past year though is when I’ve been feeling the need to dress modestly. I was also raised Catholic. I DO notice that when I’m frequently wearing dresses, my husband and our sons really enjoy it and are more gentlemanly around me. But who knows, maybe it’s because I carry myself differently and am happier when dressing that way.

Are you still a fulltime skirt and dress wearer? i had this conviction when i first came to Christ. and its for the exact you said it hugs too much of the butt and thighs since pants wrap around the thighs and legs where skirts dont. even a pencil skirt doesnt reveal the under folds of your butt or your thighs so i believe ill always have this conviction especially since im curvy. I wore leggings once before i found out about workout skirts and had so much men looking and making inappropriate remarks. Thats when my conviction was confirmed that pants reveals all of my.body even though im clothed
'Yes' emphatically to everything you say, but people ought to know that accidents can happen with skirts and dresses. There was the wife of the poet Longfellow who died from laying an open fire in the hearth because of her long Victorian dress. Likewise here in England, about 1940 I think, a Bruderhof girl got fatal burns doing the same thing in her unnecessarily long dress. No doubt there were other such incidents. My childhood was in the 1940s and -50s when it was almost unknown for girls or women to wear trousers and now that the situation is reversed, seeing people feels more depressing and ugly.

Currently I have mostly bootcut jeans in my wardrobe (I work with horses a lot) but have recently felt impressed that they really aren’t glorifying God and their snug fit draws unwanted attention. This past week our family traveled somewhere where there is a mandatory dress code and while before I had some judgemental thoughts about the people enforcing, I have actually really enjoyed being in skirts all week!! I think I will take you up on the challenge to wear only skirts and dresses for a month❤️ I’ll need to go shopping haha
I always found wearing jeans SO uncomfortable. Trousers just never seem to fit properly. I started wearing dresses and skirts when pregnant one very hot summer and it was like a revelation - finally, super comfortable and much cooler. And in cold winters I wear leggings or wool tights underneath and a long coat. In fact, dresses are warmer because you can pack on the layers underneath.
I started veiling because I started going back to church and upon getting close to the doors to go in, every time I got this feeling like I should have my face covered...like I felt a mask on my face all of a sudden. It happens every time for months now, and I've even attended different churches. It's like I feel naked. I know we don't cover our faces, so I put on a veil after listening to a bunch of women talk about why they do it...and that feeling goes away when it's on. I can't explain it...but the church I was going to, lots of women do it. Now that I've moved, I'm the only one doing it. But, I'm going to keep doing it because that discomfort not wearing it is keeping me doing it.
I'm doing the pants fast this lent season 2024. I saw this video last year and laughed because I thought it was ridiculous, but it started to become something I know would be a challenge. I usually wear sweats and leggings everyday and this is going to be way out of my comfort zone which is perfect for lent. I'm also breastfeeding right now. Thank you for sharing!
Please take it to the Lord in prayer. What God showed me recently is Christmas is a pegan holiday. Having a tree is pegan. Read Jeremiah 10:1-5. Jesus was not born on Christmas. Jesus Christ and Christmas are not to even be used in the same sentence. It wasn’t easy to give up this holiday considering I grew up thinking It was about Jesus my whole life. All that was a lie. My family and I gave it up though because we now know the truth and love Yeshua more than celebrating this pegan holiday. Just look up where Christmas originated from. Repent. I dress very modestly, always have. Still in 2024 I'm rocking the long denim skirt, T-shirt and jersey cardigans. I have a question though, during my teens something compelled me to fill my inner forearms with tattoos. I have flowers, mountains, animals. I think I was experiencing some strong teen feelings and ran with it. Well now in my 20s I don't necessarily regret my tattoos as I chose tasteful nature inspired art, but I feel so embarrassed to wear tshirts even if they are full coverage with a floor length skirt because I feel impure and not modest due to my tattoos. I find myself living in long sleeves and cardigans to cover them. What advice or encouragement would you have as a modest clothing influencer? Should I forgive myself and embrace them and allow them to become a part of my modesty? I'm not sure why they make me feel like my modesty efforts are cancelled out because of them. 💓thank you Also, I'd like to mention I grew up with non-religious parents but they always had strong morals and encouraged dignity/modesty. I do not follow a faith but I've always felt improper or not myself if I've put in pants. I've always worn anything that is below the knees, and full coverage shirts.

I’m Christian but this year was the last year I decided to celebrate Halloween. I personally felt God put it on my heart to stop celebrating as Halloween has its dark origins and everywhere you go you see devil and witch decor, skeletons and other dark things. I don’t want to be associated with what I feel like is the devil’s holiday (this is my personal opinion.) I kept trying to justify just celebrating some parts of it but I felt like I had one foot in and one foot out. I thought what’s the point of celebrating this anymore when the world celebrates this and it is such a dark holiday where witchcraft takes place. I think everyone will come to their own conclusion on this holiday so I have respect for anyone’s choice!
