so basically this wont work unless you have the two piece crank timing gear? would be nice if there were a cheap slip fit dummy gear one could install to use this toll because its a pretty slick tool.
This is null…. First of all you’re flowing COLD air through that muffler …. Secondly when those mufflers break in and those fibers melt …. That muffler will eventually turn into a straight pipe
My car ('Hetty') has a 70amp Alternator (factory), and I want to add a 2nd battery to exclusively power Accessories (Phone, LapTop, Front/Rear Camera, etc...) do I need to upgrade the Alternator to a 80amp? 145amp? etc?
My 79 Lincoln Mark V died on the road. It is an alternator issue. The alternator is just not charging the battery. I believe it is a 60 or 70 amp alternator. I have an aftermarket sound system installed, but it's only like an 800 w amp that powers 2, 12-In subs. My question is: is it just a bad alternator, or should I go for something with more juice, like a 100 amp alternator? I have heard that using an alternator that is too big can just fry the cells in a battery. Since my sound system is not huge, should I just replace the alternator with something similar?

The only question I have is this: If one tire becomes airborne, is the differential going to transfer torque to the grounded wheel, even if the vehicle is stationary? I've seen both "Yes" and "no" answers to this same question.
You’ll have to make sure you stay on top on maintenance especially regarding oil, fuel, and coolant (changing coolant out every 50k instead of 100k would be advisable). Making sure you have a fresh fuel filter and strong OEM pump would also be advisable, but as long as it’s sub 8psi it’ll run for a long time. These engine are built like tanks. Keep it cool, keep it lubed, and make sure it has plenty of high quality fuel. That’s the key with boosted engines like these.
All I need to know. Is the way the vehicle bolt pattern to the rims. Need to be ordered to fit. Say my C10 5x5 to a 5x108 Do I order a 5x127to5x108 Or 5x108to5x127. Which one will be right to put a 5x108 wheel on a 5x127 bolt pattern?
