The only thing that i would change in this game is the camera. 3rd person is not logical. Would be cool if you had to place cameras on your vehicle. And those cameras would be able to shot off if not secured. Making the pilot blind. But he could use logic blocks to switch between cameras.
Ive seen bad habits in dbd a lot. Stridor on spirit, shadowborn on nurse and billy but swinging for every hit is gonna be a reaaally nasty habit to break. Learning not to swing is one of the best ways to get better at nurse. Knowing when your hits will land is super important.
You do not need to break/prevent bad habit if you are planning not to spend your life on the game. If you do not plan to ever play nurse in the future, knowing when your hits will land is super unimportant. I decided to look through to check whether that habit took place. IDM - intentional distance measure: when i concsiously prefered to see more/longer rather than recover faster. I did not intend to hit those, but will also mention them as 0. 1 = successfull swing in the video. 0 = failed swing: 0 (fist swing intentional to look in shack, IDM), 0, 1, 1, 0 (IDM), 1, 1, 0, 0 (spin), 0 (IDM), 0 (spin), 1, 1(not blink), 1(not blink), 1, 1(not blink), 1, 1, 0, 0 (IDM), 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1(not blink), 0, 1(not blink), 1(not blink), 0, 0, 1, 1(not blink), 1(not blink). So, we discard IDM and not blinks. Fails: 11, Hits: 15. That is really close to 50%, which is natural result of a mediocre player on a suitble mmr range. I do not agree that there was any "habit" (unconscious automotive behaviour), just ordinary gameplay.
Back then i didn't even know the game has lunge-attack. And that close hooks have no aura not because they are unavailable, but because there was no visual obstruction.
