The FDA and industries are LIARS and MANIPULATORS. Most canned food can be stored for 10 years or more when stored properly. I inherited my grandparents house and there was canned milk, chili, ham n potato soup, grape jelly, and apple sauce that is dated 2011 and I'm still opening it and completely safe and delicious! When it comes to factory canned food, I am still opening Hunt's tomato sauce that has a date of 2013 and its still making great homemade spaghetti sauce, and to just name another I am opening Spaghetti-O's with Meatballs that's dated 2017 and theyre still safe and tasty. So if kept in a basement where the temperature stays relatively consistent, low humidity, and out of the sunlight you can store this milk years and years without worries that it will go bad

The result is more carmelization to the milk as opposed to evaporating the milk. If one wishes for stored evaporated milk, reduce milk to 50% volume on simmering stove top in an open heavy bottom pan or double boiler then one may can it and it would be canned evaporated milk. Please note, experts do not recommend home canning of milk. If you are inexperienced please can many other things first and study up.

When fermenting anything it is common practice to jump start your new ferment with a little bit of a previous ferment. One example is to take a little bit of yogurt or kefir from the store or a previous batch to jump start your new batch. Once you have some fermented item such as yogurt or your apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar, just save a little for a new batch.

You can also checkout, ABC 10 News, on RU-vid video, it about 2 years ago where they say they are going to do this in the future! Also research edible vaccines on RU-vid! Most of all research what’s going on in California, you not going find this information easily!
@jeremybyington

LG, here in the USA we have the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and I can assure you that any vaccine or pharmaceuticals infused into grocery store items is banned from being sold at grocery stores. I am sure Canada, being the more progressive country, has an equivalent agency to protect consumers. I did a quick Google search and every project is trying to solve a logistics and cost problem that arises when you have millions of people who need visits for each individual vaccine and boosters. None of them are going to ever be finding their way to a grocery store unless it was a one-time incident where someone stole some from the lab added it to the grocery store veggies themselves. You are getting your news from sources that are bending the truth to fit their narrative and to scare you into taking their side on the issue. My guess is their motive is to instill mistrust in the government agencies that protect consumers so that you will be calling for them to get defunded. The FDA is made up of thousands of humans, it is not a cabal secretly allowing dangerous products. You know what happens when agencies like the FDA don’t exist, step aside, or get defunded? Look no further than Boeing. Due to cost reasons, The FAA allowed Boeing to conduct their own safety tests. Boeing took advantage of the situation to cut their own costs and as a result, two planes crashed killing hundreds of people, they grounded the fleet, said they fixed the problem, and now a door blew off mid flight because they are still allowed to conduct their own safety and quality control. There is a balance, of course. Nobody wants government oversight to the extend that China takes it, where there are cameras on every street corner running face recognition software and keeping track of everyone.

I recently heard that they start doing it now! 3 years ago I heard on the news that they where going to try to do that in the future, to tomatoes! But when I saw videos show that this project is started, I had to search to make should it is true! It was not easy, but unfortunately I finally found out it is true! You can’t just do a quick search to find that information! It is was also on the news on RU-vid ABC news also! If I am un sure about anything I would say so!

On your property you should consider saving any oak or other nut trees. Squirrels gotta eat. If there aren’t any nuts, then it will be your garden and fruit trees. I have two large oak trees in my yard and they keep the squirrels fed all year long and late summer they do get a few of my peaches and plums, but at my mom’s house they just devastate her plum tree because the only nut tree nearby is slowly dying and not producing as well.
@LifestyleGardener

Jeremy, I don’t have any oak trees on my property! I can get the seeds around where I live, from trees around here later on this year, if I want! But I don’t want the squirrels to be making holes and hiding the nuts, forgetting about it! I think I would be having trees, popping up everywhere! Thanks for the heads up, I have a few ways I am planning on pre taking my garden and trees. In the future! Also check out my community post! I don’t know if you got my comment on my recent video! Because RU-vid is hiding your comment!

If you live in anywhere in North America, you can get them from big box stores or some hardware store, just look in the kitchen utensils area! Some people get them online, but it’s more expensive online!

If u need to u can strain it under water just to learn and meet your grains. Once I thought I made cottage cheese and fed it to my mom. She was asking why does your cottage cheese is so rubbery. I didn’t understand that question so ignored it until I jumped up to make more kefir and then realized I had given mom the grains to eat. I had to reorder

Hello Dear, you didn’t watch my other videos about how I started to make kefir? I know it’s best to make kefir with the kefir Gains, but I didn’t make it with kefir Gains! I wanted to show the world you can still make kefir even if you can’t find the gains anywhere! 😊you can check out my playlist about fermented foods, I think it’s in that playlist!

I don’t know how cold it gets on PEI but I had a few kale plants that lived for 2.5 years outdoors here in Missouri. They might’ve lived longer but we had a few days in a row below -5F. I think the trick was plenty of mulch on top of their dirt and then the wind always blows a mound of oak leaves and buries most of the plants. So, I think if you have more than one kale plant you should try overwintering one by mulching and find some way to lightly bury them in leaves. The sweeter taste they have in the colder weather…I really missed that this spring because all I had were little seedlings too small to harvest from. If you get one to survive it will produce a ton of leaves in the spring.
