Life in France started in 2006, it was always a dream to start a new life in France at the age of 55 but instead, I started my life in France just before hitting 40.
Now at the end of 2022 we start our new chapter of life in France by moving to a property with land, lakes, and a small forest to enable us to enjoy a more self-sufficient lifestyle.
The property already has its own water source and in the future, our intention is to go off-grid by installing our own solar panels.
Within the property, we are intending to use the lakes to produce food, grow our own fruit and vegetables and raise animals for meat.
Within this Life in France channel, we share our passion for keeping fit, cooking, gardening, DIY, and sharing why we love our life in France so much.
We hope you enjoy our channel and please subscribe if you are new.
First like and a full watch of this new wood burning installation and I would not be happy with a 13.00 clock off time either. Hate it when you are in their hands - I like to be in control. Cheers Alan
This grass is amazing 🤩 I went on a vacation for 2 weeks and this grass got zero maintenance in the middle of a Canadian summer! When I returned it was the BEST looking in my garden!!!!! It looked fantastic and full of life! 🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉so celebrated 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is it possible to completely remove stain. I have similar problem. Spf creams ruin pool vinyl so easily i wonder why. I dont know about others but it seems to affect side that faces sun. Some say reaction of copper, chlorine and sunscreen leave liner in yellow color. I didnt try these products, anyone else had luck with any chemicals including these?
I've heard ascorbic acid (vitamin C) tablets in a white sock rubbed into stains can do a decent job on clearing metal staining. Also, if sold for culinary use, as opposed to purchasing via a pool supply store, I understand they can be a lot cheaper.
Hi from wales - great video I will try this with my plant. I also have a European fan palm with large pups would I propagate this the same way with a straight down cut. Any tips please.
Hei i have a banana-Houseplant, which isnt even 1 Meter tall, but suffering from something which i dunno what it could be. Its Baby is completely healthy. (I separated them today) Do you think it will also survive a cut like yours? Or is it too small (The upper part, where new leafs should grow is Brown/crusty/looks Dead. The baby is bright green and Produces new leafs like a champion xD)
I have experienced that before where the parent plant has a disease which does kill it but before then it shoots out a few new pups to replace it - if your parent plant is brown and not doing well you have nothing to loose in trying a cut, ive cut back 4 different species of banana plants below the leave growth and all came back stong
I have a banana tree which has grown far to high....i need to loose at least 1.5 to 2m in height.....can I literally cut it down to the height i want ? Will it grow back? or would it kill the tree , which is not what I want , thank you ..
I’ve just attempted this propagation technique, and so far it looks very promising. I’ll be delighted if it succeeds, as I might otherwise have just cut off the shoots for composting!! Thank you for providing such clear instructions and demonstration. It’s been enormously helpful.
