Hello, I was wondering if i should achieve a COMP TIA A+ certification before I begin my journey as a VA then work towards my quick books certification so I can also offer book keeping and billing

@@Worldwide-vf5cn hello! Doing all the work on the same account is fine. Just make sure all your passwords and logins are protected. Have security etc on your laptop
@@kenniquajI’m thinking customer service via phones, emails, calendar management, event planning, travel arrangements, word processing, transcribing, data entry. That’s where I am at this time. I can do billing and book keeping

Hey! So, I haven’t personally started a VA agency. Unfortunately cannot be of much help there. I only share things that I know, I’ve done and experienced
I’m currently a virtual assistant. I started putting together the business at the end of 2022 and FINALLY got a long term paying client in October 2023. I took up a LOT (😢) of unpaid work to build my portfolio and it paid off. I messed up by not charging my worth (😅) but my portfolio is now built up well enough to start expanding and I’m so excited. If you’re thinking of starting a VA business PLEASE DO IT. I live fully off of my virtual assistant income and have more work-life balance.
This video is so helpful. I am an inspiring VA. I was wondering how do you ask a client that if you don't have a specific skills they are requesting but I am willing to learn. How do you ask the client if they are willing to provide training. Have you experienced that before in the past? I don't mind learning a skill and provide value. Should I lower my price because they are offering training? Any thoughts or suggestions about this topic.
Hello! Great question. So, in the past if I had a client that was using a specific system/tool that I didn’t know how to use. I let them know from the beginning, that I didn’t know how to use it and if we were to work together that they would need to show me how to do it. I did not discount my services. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong to this. Now, when I hire VAs, I also train them to do the work exactly they way I want it done. And I pay them for the “training” which is like videos I’ve created. So, even if the person knows how to do something, they may not know how to do it the way I like. So…I train.
@@kenniquaj YYEESSSS!!!! Pretty please🙏 I really...really.. would love to see a video for Virtual beginners for Honeybook step by step. Also a contract example for a virtual assistant. How does that suppuse to look like. And a proposal video for VA beginners.
Hey! I don’t have a sample contract I can provide. I did take a course (when I was a VA) the virtual savvy, which did give us a sample contract I know Honeybook also has contracts built in. All of which you want to review
Hey! Awesome. So, typically when I do 3 month contracts, I do not have the client pay up front for all 3 months. All of our client projects are on autopay, so they pay month by month (and they are contractually responsible for all 3 months).

Thanks for this, I already own honeybook as a subscription and was looking for ways to give free digital products to my followers and thought I’d need a whole other platform!
Thank you so very much! You dropped "Big & Important" GEMS! I appreciate you for sharing your valuable time and information. Blessings Be Upon You Always
Hello! Sure. I don’t think there is a set amount of emails you should have. Just enough to reach your goal for what it is you’re doing. Is for automation? Email sequence? Onboarding, etc? This is something you want to ask yourself. And have the amount of emails that will help you get from point A to B
Love this! I am naming my virtual receptionist/admin assistant service Green Tack Solutions. I would love to network but people act like celebrities lol. Thanks for the info!

Hey! Thank you so much for this amazing video!! It was a quite detailed video & helped me clear my doubts & stop being scared about starting this new journey of becoming a VA in 2024. God Bless You!
