mostly a dumping ground for gaming stuff i fraps and awful video editing because what is actually putting any effort in ever also unedited gameplay to show friends as well as dumb junk like home videos, piano, and the rare actually edited video rip in porv
Going down a Tonspender rabbit hole looking for an early demo of "Irritations" (According to his soundcloud, it was called "a cold start".) Anyway, found this listed on a Russian music streaming website under the name "last hope". Thought I'd share, nice cover :)
I... hate... this... boss. The final phase is luck based. No matter what I do the waves coming from the sides ALWAYS hit me. I'm pressing dodge and I always get hit. The walls that come up are nonsense. I'm on the other side of the arena so she always shoots me before I can get there. The other bosses were challenging but this boss's last phase is downright unfair
After you finally get passed the last phase make sure to SHOOT him. I tried to melee him twice and died because the stupid green line stays awhile ON HIS BODY. So frustrating I basically died twice even after getting through the phase
Fuck her stupid last phase seriously it feels like the designers went: "let's add waves to every attack" without actually checking if it works well with the attack in question. Case in point the stupid laser turrets now fire waves and it's pretty much not possible to effectively dodge everything. Even the burst and the edge were more fun than this boss.
The Scale is especially annoying, especially his last phase assuming you don't stop the grid pattern forming. If you do though, that last phase becomes survivable. Having to dodge waves and cross four green lines is harder than jus one green line and those annoying waves his doppelgangers make. The Scale was definitely harder than The Song and The Hand, I gave up on the game for about 5 years because of him. I've beaten him and the other two now, working on The Burst next.
tl;dr about 2 hours the first half of the fight is by far the hardest imo; most of my failed attempts were in the first phase, since there's so much rng affecting what trash mobs will appear (and where), so I kept resetting the fight early and often, and got into the habit of leaving some of the early trash mobs alive so i could throw them later, to try to skip having to deal with the more difficult trash mobs like ninja slices that start spawning when pizzaface is at low health, especially since you can get overrun by sheer quantity of enemies if you take too long between hitting him / miss some throws. If phase 1 was 3/4ths of my failed attempts, then phase 2 / the gun phase is easily the remaining 1/4th. Having to juggle multiple mechanics meant sometimes I'd be hit by either that gear thing that moves across the floor dropped by pizzaface (sometimes it aligned really poorly for me with other mechanics, like the bouncing tv or bullets, or i'd miss a parry, or i just straight up didn't notice it until it was too late), and also a few times where I got hit by pizzahead throwing his gun after he's done firing it. I was shocked it actually caused damage the first time. but a lot of this phase (and the ones that follow it) feel like they can be pretty abused with parrying, making you practically invincible. everything after the gun phase is a complete walk in the park, since you don't have to juggle multiple mechanics or worry about multiple enemies. i think i only had 2 or 3 failed attempts that were past the gun phase. the very last phase is by far the easiest in the entire fight too, since he only has 3 attacks, and the boxing gloves and stomp are absolutely trivial to avoid
@@Porvelm Thanks! Just as you wrote this message I almost beat it twice, losing out of the fact that its 1 am and I'm tired, I actually managed to find a strategy for the first part which is probably a cheese but oh well! What ever floats your boat I guess.
I feel like this could have been a good boss for a DLC that takes place after the good ending, where the civilization that sent out Rider in the first place now instead sends another even more dangerous of his species in order to assassinate Rider for treasona nd finish his original mission.
@@heroinmom153 I’d like to welcome you to the memorial for Carlton. *book closes super fast* Saying a few words on behalf of the departed will be Phillips.
Ive seriously been working on the end part for like 15 tried and you just gotta fly over to her and smack her really fast... Facepalm to the max. I always have trouble with the last section on Furier mode for every boss so far, and on my normal difficulty playthrough, I didn't know the game was not supposed to finish before fighting her. After beating her, I set the controller down to use the bathroom and when I came back, the credits were rolling. I missed like half of the bosses, , including her.
