What I write here is only for those of you who care to read... Fela Kuti made music WITH PURPOSE. He didnt make music to be the best, to be the star, to rock out on stage and have all the women swooning over him... He felt truth and accurate force directed through him to SPREAD TRUTH and FEELING... not just to make the people SEE... but FEEL the oppression, the lies, the corruption, the overweight bureaucracy.. he was not just any man. He was the rightful fury responding to a wrong, and unjust operation that was slowly, but calculatingly ruining and taking control of peoples LIVES. God bless this man!!! GOD BLESS THE LOST SOULS BURDENED BY THEIR CONSCIOUS REBUTTAL OF THE LIE
Jean-Baptiste Yama Legnongo
The first time I heard this song was many years ago I still remember I was a child I think 10 or 15 years old, my late aunt hold my hand and we were running and looking for where to hide for safety from the Kano state war, as a child even if I was little it touch me while running from war and listening to this peace song at the same time
