In May 2016, I moved into a new home out in the "country". There were several surprising changes but one of the biggest was all the cats. I encountered my first feral kitten in June 2016 when my two small dogs would not stop barking at my neighbors shed. When I finally shined a flashlight underneath it, I was surprised to see a really small kitten face. I didn't know anything about cats at the time and left some dog food at the entrance to the hole under the shed because no amount of coaxing would make this kitten budge. For the next several days I left more food and kept watch from a distance. Eventually a tiny, filthy kitten appeared and we have been together ever since. I had a lot to learn back then including extreme patience.
It's a Feral World Out There.

Oh, Stephanie, I'm so glad to hear that your mom made it through that scary experience! It's wonderful that your brother can care for her, and that there is family nearby to give them the support they need. Please send her big hugs from France. 🤗 It's such a relief to hear that she's recovering. I spent a month in the hospital last year, and even though I was mobile and not in pain, it was not an experience I want to repeat. Lydia is a little sweetheart. I remember that Tiny Kittens has had cats with a head tilt - Mirok and North, and maybe more - and had good success getting them close to normal again. I believe one had a punctured eardrum, and both had ear infections. I'm sure you'll get her back to health, as always. Looking forward to seeing her progress. For the other kittens you filmed, would you be able to show their story once the legalities are concluded?
Wow you family has had a Summer. Great to hear that things have come back around to more normal. I can empathize. We went through a similar situation with my grandmother.🤗💕🙏. It's nice to see this sweet little one has a strong purr motor. Hope she come around too. It is nice to hear how you are doing. Blessing be with you. 💕🌹🙏
Good to hear from you (was only wondering how you were yesterday). Sorry to hear your mum has been unwell. Glad the news is positive. Little Lydia is lovely ❤❤. Bless her. She is in the best place. Her purring is glorious ❤❤.
I'm happy that you're taping again Lydia is adorable and she let you give her belly rubs and that's awesome and I pray to God that your mother is doing well now and she will continue to be doing well amen 🙏🏻
Praying 4 your Mom🙏 Praying 4 a Miracle Sis. I'm so sorry 4 what the Kittens went through💔😢 I'm glad they r being Persecuted. She's so sweet❣️ Praying that the meds work 4 her🙏🙏
She’s so precious. The brain is a wondrous thing; she could wake up one morning and be on the way to being healed. Like your mom. We will all pray for that, sweet baby.
Hello. My cat has been diagnosed with pectus excavatum. I am thinking of having surgery after he grows up a bit. Can he return to normal completely after the surgery? I would be very happy if you could help me with this.
Cardboard boxes get wet after only one rain even when covered with plastic. This is not a good solution for outdoor cats. The moisture freezes in cold weather and creates a refrigerator for cats. Our local Rescue tested this and they now use plastic bins.
Yep. At 1st they eat anything. When they get some body fat put on and realize the food is always available, they turn into regular picky cats. I love seeing it happen -- means they are doing just fine.
What sweet babies! Eloise is so pretty, with her Emily Dickinson hairstyle. Good to hear from you again, Steph. I hope you're keeping well. Best wishes for Leroy and the other newcomers - get well soon, kits!
We found our kitty KiKi when she was 3 wks old abandoned and starving😢 she was so small we would lose her in our house all the time! Good idea keeping them in an enclosed area till they get bigger😊
Hi, Stephanie, it's so good to hear you sounding so cheerful. It must be a relief to know your mom's off the ventilator and getting better. Please give her a virtual hug and -warmest- coolest wishes for her recovery. You've done such a good job of building your team; it's nice to know that you have foster parents ready to take over when you get the kittens "out of the woods."
My dad has a cat named Willow that he found on the road that was ran over by a car. He told me he was gonna get out and put it out of its misery. He told me it hissed at him but when he went to pick it up it started purring. I was listening and I knew what he was gonna say. I looked at him and said "You couldn't do it could you?" He told me "$1000 later we had a new kitty." She has 3 legs like the one in your care right now and no tail but let me tell you that doesn't slow her down.
It is so nice to hear from you you have a lot on your plate right now and we appreciate your updates when you have a moment to post Thank you for all the kitty's you help
Sounds like you have enough on your plate. Nice to hear from you but no issue if you just pop up. Best wishes to you and your mum. As always more lucky kitties ❤❤
Send both you and your mother love. It's so hard when family members are sick. Wishing your mother recovery, along with the kitten's eye surgery. You have so much room in your heart!
