I make random videos with a focus on gaming. You're probably here because of my Skyrim battles. My channel isn't limited to those, although they will most likely be my main content for now. 🐉 I prefer having NPCs fight in 1 vs. 1 duels on Adept difficulty, although there are lots of exceptions. Most of my battles have a bigger round at the end. I have also tried out several different formats by now, such as tournaments and survival battles with waves of enemies.
I usually upload once per week, at the weekend, and produce my videos several weeks in advance. It's still possible that I'm not able or in the mood for a new video, although that rarely happens. 🎬
If you'd like, feel free to join my Discord server for updates on my Skyrim battles, behind-the-scenes material and bloopers, and discussions about Skyrim and other random things. 🎮
I always avoided killing J’Darr, it just didn’t feel right doing that to him. Pretty sure the spheres ended up killing him in my game as well though lol
How did you properly spawn Miraak? I was able to spawn EW, but all the commands I tried for Miraak didn't really work out. The command I used for EW did work though.
You mean Miraak couldn't be spawned at all? 🤔 For anything not included in the main game, the first two characters vary depending on your load order. That goes for both mods and DLCs. There are 6 different Miraaks in the game with different properties. The "correct" Miraak (the battle version that you fight at the summint of Apocrypha) has the ID 401FB98 for me. The 4 at the beginning can be different for you. To be sure, you can use the command "help miraak", and check the leading characters for all the results that pop up. If the issue lies somewhere else or you have more questions, let me know! 😄
@@lSlendermaster I just ran through some IDs I found for Miraak, but those Miraak variations died very quickly. For me, the first two numbers should be “04” as well since I have SE, if mods don't affect the value in any way. Though, for some reason I couldn't spawn the RefID variations of EW nor Miraak, only the BaseID variations worked for me.
@@sebastian42O I assume you were at a low level? Miraak scales with you, using a 1.1 multiplier. I always use him at his level cap, for which you need to be at least level 137. You can change it by using the command "player.setlevel 137", or whichever level you want. Ref IDs are never used with the "player.placeatme" command. It's a bit difficult to explain, but to summarize it: Ref IDs are used to work with existing individuals, while the Base ID is used here to create a copy of an NPC. While that might seem the same, things can get very different. Especially quest NPCs often have scripts attached to their original version, but not to any copies that you spawn. If you want to use the unique original, you can tag the Ref ID by using, for example, "prid 401FB99" for the battle Miraak, then moving him to your location by using "moveto player". This usually only works if the NPC has already spawned in your playthrough, which might not have happened if you're not far enough in the quest, and/or you haven't visited the location yet. Using Ref IDs is generally more difficult than spawning copies, although it's necessary sometimes. Which one is preferable highly depends on the particular NPC and takes a good amount of experience. Okay, that's a lot of text. I hope you'll find some of it useful 😂
@@masterofpuppets6879 Ahh, I didn't think about upgrades. That sucks, yeah. And the Vampire Lord is generally disappointing in Skyrim. I never join the Volkihar Clan 😂
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the reason Mercer can swing so fast is because when Duel-Wielding, the speed of your attacks is determined by the weapon in your Off Hand. Since Mercer has a Dagger, that means he can swing even the Sword in his Main Hand with the same speed you could a Dagger in-game. Whereas Deathbrans has 2 Swords. Meaning his attacks are just slightly slower than his, even if they technically hit harder on average. I tested this and its kinda true. The combined power attack in particular goes off really fast using a dagger.
You're right! Mercer has a pretty good combo. I've also seen it with Forsworn Briarhearts; those with one sword and one war axe are much better than those with two war axes 😄
Neloth is legit one of the few Mage NPCs in the game who actually feels like a *master* of his craft The fact that he uses a spell type he himself basically created (Ash Guardian and Whirlwind Cloak) Fun fact: Neloth I think is the only Mage NPC in the game that actually has 70% Shock resistance through his boots. Making him suprisingly prepared for fights with another mage lol
Good points! I like his spells, although I wish he had good aim against ragdolled targets. 😅 I too think he's the only one who has that, aside from something like atronachs who are immune to shock. Also helps that he's a Dunmer so fire isn't a problem either 😂
Nightmaster Vampires are almost unreasonably strong for being a "mob" you can just randomly encounter out in the world The fact that two of them at once are *roughly* as strong as Miraak says a LOT
You can't really meet those, but Nightlords are not much weaker, so you still have a point. 😅 The vampire attacks can get really nasty, and I don't understand why some like the Traveler can have such high stats when they often spawn near or even in towns so they can slaughter everyone 😂
Would have been fun to have Nealoth and his apprentice face Miraak or something similar at the end. Still a great vid. Also those vampires will mess you up.
Yea epic, and funny when the spriggan went flying, and the bloopers and in the begining it looked like Neloth tried to just ignore them and walk away!!😂
It can be, if Neloth doesn't conjure his Ash Guardian! If he does, he wins pretty easily if the dragon gets distracted. In this round, the Guardian didn't do much and even went away at the end, which is comparable to a round with no summon 😄
@@masterofpuppets6879 The Ebony Warrior was far away enough from Neloth so he equipped his bow, and he kept using it for a bit. 😄 Karstaag's blizzard doesn't matter for that, but he he throws the Ebony Warrior further than he did in the video, he will equip his bow as well, as long as Karstaag doesn't run after him 😄
I was pleasantly surprised by Neloth in this one. He’s probably my favorite character in Skyrim, but he unfortunately suffers from Bethesda power conversion syndrome. Lore-wise, he’s one of the most powerful wizards in Tamriel, and with confirmation of Divayth Fyr’s status still unknown, he’s technically the most powerful wizard in Morrowind. From an in-game perspective, though, he’s just Savos’ equal.
It seems like quite a few people like Neloth! I'll make more episodes with him then. 😄 You're right, him and Savos are roughly equal in-game. Is Neloth supposed to be much more powerful than Savos in the lore? I think they both have a great amount of experience, but I don't know much about Neloth because I didn't play Morrowind.
Haha, yeah, I love Neloth. He’s a jerk, but he’s got so much more personality than other Skyrim characters, plus he’s really funny. Oh yeah, Neloth is a lot more powerful than Savos in lore. I could list Neloth’s feats, but that would be an annoyingly long comment 😂. I think a good summary of his power is in Ildari’s journal, where she admits that even with the heartstone in her chest and an army of ash creatures at her command, Neloth is still too powerful for her to face directly.
@@Josh-tg9uv Indeed! Neloth is hilarious. 😂 Ohh, I didn't remember that detail about Ildari. It's been too long since I've played that. I do remember her sending the ash creatures after Neloth, the failed experiment, and some other things, but I'm not the best at the lore in general. 😅 Another weird thing about Neloth is him not using any staves, despite being a staff enchanter. Would you agree, or is there a logical reason why he doesn't carry any?
Agreed, it is very odd that he doesn’t use staves, especially because he’s an avid collector of magic artifacts. In Morrowind, he once possessed Mehrunes Razor and a bunch of other powerful artifacts. And in Skyrim, he sends you on a fetch quest to recover ancient staves from a wizard he admired called Azra Nightweiler. If I had to hazard a wild guess as to why he doesn’t utilize them, it’s probably because he’s so arrogant that he believes he doesn’t need to use them and just relies on his own power 😂. By the way, I should have said this before, but your editing and the effort you put into these videos are remarkable. I wish I had your talent.
@@Josh-tg9uv Waaait, he used to have Mehrunes' Razor?! He really likes the Daedra's secret, I can tell! 😂 Nice info, thanks! Well, if that's really the reason, he does have a point. 😆 I need to put him against Savos again. Thanks a lot! 😁 I'm glad all the effort is appreciated. There's a lot of learning, trial and error, and dedication involved. My early videos looked pretty bad. 😅 I've adapted over time.
There's a "hostile" flag on Neloth's cloak spell, which for some reason causes nearby summons to disappear when you cast the cloak. I simply removed the flag, and that fixed it. It used to be an issue with other cloaks as well, but probably got fixed in official updates. But the Whirlwind Cloak is DLC, and it still suffers from that bug. It's weird 😂
В сборке RFAB все противники такие же умные, как тот вампир в первом раунде. Начинаешь адаптироваться к новому и сложному миру игры, а к старому теряешь интерес.
Perfect wizard to have in a video. The dragon did more than impress. It was so frustrating seeing him not land those last few spells on the vampire. Was hoping to see a nice trilogy
I wasn't expecting the dragon to give Neloth a challenge, considering how quickly Neloth did damage to him at first! Yeah, all NPCs get very passive against ragdolled targets, missing consistently or not even trying to attack. I would change it if I knew what causes it 🤷
Nope, because they're way too weak and too generic in terms of combat abilities. 😅 I could put several against a Werewolf Vargr though. This might be cool to watch 🤔
HAHA me encantó como los 2 atronach se destruyen simultaneamente, esa magia de cenizas es bastante interesante, lastima los Vampiros sean un problema para el viejo Neloth 😂
