I wish you had a real baby for this demonstration because I have been doing this with my son since he weaned at 5.5months and I can tell you now, it looks nothing like this! Now he is nearly 11 months it involves him dragging the dispenser off the edge of the sink with my toothbrush and toothpaste as well as putting his dirty hands on the part of the faucet the water comes from (spraying water everywhere)… He is also not light enough to just place on your thigh like this so he is hitched up on the sink or sometimes standing on it while I hold him! Nonetheless I’d be lucky if I can do a thorough job🤦🏽♀️
Helpful tips, but please be mindful of the extra single-use plastics! Gloves are not necessary for every diaper change for most people. This is incredibly wasteful. Perhaps use reusable gloves if you need gloves.
In a childcare setting, single-use gloves are required when changing any child’s diaper! According to QRIS it is actually required to remove your gloves after wiping and replacing them with a fresh pair.
