Thanks for checking out my channel. I upload gameplay and collect game soundtracks. I created this profile with the goal of making obscure game music I enjoy easier to find, otherwise I've put together some playlists and I occasionally post some gameplay.
Man I want to play this game but I don't know nearly enough Japanese to get the story. I keep checking every year to see if there's an English translation of it, but alas...the wait continues.
I remember this really well. I think it is only played in the N64 version of Worms Armageddon. I also think it is my favourite music in Worms video game series.
I love this series. Having played through Search for Eden several times throughout my life I recently decided to play The Shinkaron, having finished I must say: this series is already one of my favorites of all time. Simply beautifully crafted, the story, the soundtrack, the artstyle. I'd love to see a remake of this, maybe one day...
This is the most complete Worms: Armageddon N64 OST I've found, but it's still missing at least one of the songs that play during the missions. I wish I could describe it, but it has a whimsical synth line and a mid-tempo. I've looked through all of your uploads from this OST, but that one is most definitely not on there. I've been playing the game on my N64 a ton over the past few months, and know the song very well from even when I owned the game originally in 2000-02, when I played hundreds of hours with friends. Perhaps the song doesn't appear in Deathmatch or Missions, but it is definitely there in multiplayer. Thanks for uploading these, it's nice to have them online in a mostly complete form! :D
@@JetWolfEXI've been searching everywhere for someone who might have recorded the same missing track because I want to put it on the PC version of Armageddon. Since youtube doesn't allow to comment links for some reason, put this code on the search bar, play the video by a user called Emulation64, and go to second 00:42 to listen the track we are looking for👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 kqNEg8P8NPI
@@BadGamer_31 Thanks I realized from the first comment that I missed this one, there's also a more ambient track I didn't upload. I may have just forgotten. I have been busy and didn't get a chance to upload them yet, expect it to be added tomorrow, thanks for making an effort to point out the track I missed.
My first exposure to the game was the music, and it's perfect. You get the overall vibe from just listening to it, but in-game with context these tracks have more impact. The game lingers in my memories long after I played it, the sincerity of it will always stick with me, it is very nostalgic despite not being that long ago.
plugging the game's credits (found on sega retro) into google translate appears to suggest the soundtrack was composed by Kiyotaka Sato and Nobuhiro Makino. thanks for the recordings :D
Unusualmemes used this song as his outro once. Heard it and instantly loved it. Sadly know nothing about the game but yt just recommended me this version. Very beautiful
I hear a lot of familiar music in their outro, they seem to be good at finding tracks like that. I'm much more familiar with the composer than the games they worked on. I tried the game a long time ago, it's a complicated strategy game about balancing elements that I couldn't figure out, it could be a good game for someone that has the patience for it.
I like how all of the music has a similar tone/mood, hence the midnight forest theme (some of the best kind of music imo). However, I'm not really compelled to watch the visuals of the video, maybe because they're mostly idle gameplay clips. I do like this as a background video to listen to, though. I've forgotten all about the Sonic Mega Collection Extras Menu song... I owned that game back in the early 2000s and forgot all about that song, but it always caught my ear as a teenager.
That's great, that the tone worked, that was mostly what I was going for I have some other ideas for directions to take this, where it's more involved or has more action in the background, I have some in mind for faster paced or more intense music that I hope would be more entertaining to watch. It's ok, I intended for this to also work audio only. It was my concern that there's not enough reason to focus on the video aspect. I can't really imagine anyone wanting to sit there and watch a whole hour of background visuals. Yeah i specifically decided to put some nostalgic stuff in here, I like the Mega collection music a lot. I'm glad it worked. Thanks for sharing your opinion
