Maby the american accent in the games is there to differentiate Afton and the Mimic.🤔 Burntrap is maby the mimic and Glitchtrap too. So I just hope that if Afton will speak in Secrets of the mimic, he will be British. 🙏 The movie could be explained by the consistency thing, that new people would be confused. The movie is for the fans, but it is also an opportunity to show FNaF to new people. Someone that doesn't play video games / read books or just someone who tries to watch some new movie.

As a kid I use to be most scared of Withered Bonnie, but when he got voicelines, I found him kind of endearing. No he's one of my favorites. Withered Chica has been bumped to #1 scariest animatronic now. Something about her jaw deeply disturbs me, and she's not endearing like Withered Bonnie is. I always imagine Withered Bonnie talking to Ruined Roxie. They handle their lack of face situation so differently; it would be entertaining to see them interact.

Also he clearly likes to be in control and since those words were from his victims in his personalised hell, it seems he appreciates it’s his turn to prey on someone’s fear and takes the others lines as a parallel and or to take away from the others’ victory. Yeah, removing the accent was completely and utterly meaningless. Not only because the lines didn't even end up in the final game, but because there doesn't NEED to be an explanation for it! The US has TONS of people with non-American accents; hell, a while back, I went to the graduation of my oldest niece, and at least half the graduates had non-American last names, and I'm sure some of them had accents too! I know at least one of the staff did!
