What’s the possible problem if the ECAS isn’t working.? The ecas remote has power but all the buttons are not working. And the air suspensions are full of air
I love how you can also hear the CG-1000 from Owls head. It is just a bit over a mile from rockland breakwater. The horns also activate with the same fog sensor
I have the same generator my dad left me. He had it worked on but, I believe with someone not to well versed. Could you send me some detailed photos of the carburetor linkage. I have the new parts but, not sure where the wire and spring hook to on the throttle linkage or how there supposed to function. It very hard to start, but runs like a champ when it would fire up.
This happened to my bf and my fav chipmunk, near our house. He was fine for years, eventually even taking sunflower seeds from our hand . We then found him like this, and tried to put him into his own hole. He rolled out again though, and died a little later. It was so sad! Would really like to know what causes this :(
I just bought one but cannot find the owners manual nor do I know how to stop it from surging while running - it ramps up and down - I had to turn the screw all the way tight just to stop the engine from sounding like it is going then dying going then dying -- argh so aggravating - any help out there?
+Derrick Anderson If it is surging then more than likely the carburetor is clogged up with varnish. You could take it apart and clean it, but I find it more cost effective to just buy a new one. Make sure it has fresh fuel, and fuel is flowing freely from the tank. When I had this generator it didn't have any fuel filter, so I added one in-line (as well as a shut off valve).
I did a lot more research, and I think it had a condition called "head tilt," - a neurological disorder. Most often caused by head trauma (falling out of a tree). Rabies is still a possibility with the "head tilt" disorder, but much less common.
