The blue signal wire is already connected to a canbus module on my E39 head unit. Can I assume it's ok to just splice into it for a subwoofer amp signal wire?
Hi friend. Thanks for your message. Yours is a dedicated head unit. You need to keep the blue signal wire connected to the Canbus module and connect the signal wire of the subwoofer amplifier to the blue signal wire (all three wires are connected in parallel).
Is there an update for the Eonon Android 13 Radio? Because my Zlink spins as soon as I connect it to Bluetooth. The music starts to stutter and the app is totally jerking...

What hardware did you use to power the unit while not attached to the car? Can it be purchased? I live in a complex and cant connect to home wifi from car. Phone hotspot is incredibly slow also. Where can i download the latest updates to install via usb?
@@FlyboyEUC Hi friend. We do not recommend that you wire the unit separately without connecting it to the car. It needs DC12V power supply. Wrong wiring is going to cause the unit to be burned. Hi friend. The P4 takes power directly from the car's cigarette lighter socket, and the screen will only turn on when there is a stable power supply from the P4 power cord. Please check the car cigarette lighter socket to see if there is power output when only the ignition switch is turned on. If there is no power output from the car's cigarette lighter socket, then the P4 will not turn on. Thank you~
I finally have a repeatable working process. Eonon P4 does not like any extra Exif data in the file, so if you are creating the file with photoshop (which adds Exif) as I did, then follow these instructions and it should work every time. I have two EONON P4 and the following process worked perfectly for both. Thanks to @tbryaneric for the MSPAINT pointer, but I could not get working if it was over 100k. 1. In Photoshop, create a new project 1600x600, and use 72 dpi for resolution (96dpi will work as well) and no color management. 2. Make it look the way you like. 3. Save it as a boot_logo-PS.jpg, but ensure that the jpg size is under 100K (mine saved as 73k) - this file will not work as is, that is why I saved it with -PS in the name. 4. Open the newly created jpg file in MSPAINT, or what ever the equivalent image editor is on the OS you use. Click "Save As", select JPG as the file type and save it as a boot_logo.jpg 5. Upload the boot_logo.jpg to the root of the MicroSD and voila, you have a working boot logo. I placed a copy of the PSD I used, and a copy of a working .jpg in this folder. 2:43 is that the camera cable for the stock camera? So there is no need to buy the A501 adapter to make the stock camera work with the VWA12S? Then why do i need the A501 adapter on the VWA13?

So, we recently installed this to the UA12S Plus head unit we purchased back in 2023(was the android 12 version). I have updated the unit to the latest release and did a reset on it to ensure all settings are factory. After installing the Backup camera and verifying all wires are powering correctly, the unit would not activate the backup view on the headunit. We know it was receiving signal, but it would not display when I enter in reverse mode. Is this a known issue? Additionally, I have been trying to access factory settings to see if anything is in there, but the manuals 1234 password does not work on my unit. Is there another way I can reset this or figure out the password?
