The thing that amuses me the most is that Frank Silva was actually a quiet, soft spoken guy who was really sweet and funny in reality. Because he can certainly emote a madly frightening character without using a word.
So leave it to David Lynch to give her the most meaningless and depressing storyline in Season 3. Which was actually a lot better than the one he had written first.
Thank God Silva was an actor. What a lot of people might not realize is David may have wanted him whether he answered the question yes or no but you can’t just put anybody in a film or T.V. show, you have to be a member of SAG for the kind of role he played. So had he not had the proper credentials, maybe Lynch wouldn’t have gone down the BOB rabbit hole. Completely changing the course of the show.
I found this video when I went looking for what Kimmy looked like when younger since she was full on supporting pedophile/child rapist Brian Peck. And was somewhat disturbed by her actually mentioning his name on the Letterman show. He really ingratiated him to a lot of people. So much so that 42 people wrote letters to the judge to keep him from being sentenced to prison, even though he admitted to sexually assaulting a child he was coaching / worked with on Nickelodeon. This woman had the gall to place blame on the child victim in her letter - that he “tempted “ a grown man and tricked him. She’s a POS imo.
*... but regardless of the abundant praise that Lynch is attracts, let's not overlook the fact that he's probably one of the most overrated directors on the planet*
i am so desperate to see these episodes all over again. but not on HBO not on NEtflix, anywhere...so many dumb things we see nowadays is this masterpiece locked forever.
