It's a time lapse of this local artist in Cumberland, Maryland. Her name is Adaia Schultz and she's painting live while the band STILL from Pittsburgh is performing at our church's Acoustic Cafe at Allegany County Fair.
My bad everything I said was wrong. It's not Thom Bray it was Eddie Deezen. It was his picture there at the train display/muesem....he also lives in Cumberland is from there I think. He went off the rails of late but he was in Wargames. never knew it came to Western Maryland. One of the character voice actors was from near there. He also was on the TV show Rip Tide I think. He has a real distinct voice. He went to the train display at Cumberland Fairgrounds. Seen it at Western Roundup Car Show there he had his picture inside.
Yeah, it's Eddie Deezen, I met him once and know him personally. He's better now, but the poor guy has been through a lot as of late. His mom passed away 2 years ago and he was really close with her. Yeah, it has gone through Cumberland the past couple years and will be coming through again this year.
I don't remember the whole setlist and order, but I can say some of the songs that they did. They came on stage to Whole World. They did I Am On the Rock, they did the classics medley, John Lawry had a keyboard and keytar solo, the band jammed and Christian Borneo had a drum solo, Lucas McGraw, Beyond Belief, You Are I Am, Judas' Kiss, ballads medley, Creed, Lord I Lift Your Name On High, Dance and final song was Somebody's Gonna Praise His Name and the encore was Jekyll & Hyde.

I'm glad to see and hear that he's doing better. He is a great drummer! I arrived at the fair during the drum sound check and I was like that sounds awesome. I mean it wasn't just banging on the drums to make sure they sound good, he was actually playing. No one was allowed into the grandstands at the time, I was in the parking lot about to walk into the fairgrounds when that was going on. It was a great show! It was my first time seeing KIX and unfortunately the last. They're retiring sometime in September or October.
Yep, they still are, they are going to be retiring in September though. They actually were in town, so I didn't have to travel for this concert at all. It was a really good concert, they did songs from every album. Still even though they're older still a high energy show. I took about 50 pictures. I almost got to see them back in 2016, yet again they were in town, but that night of the concert we were going out of town so didn't see them, but the sound check sounded good. I was at a graduation party in the afternoon of the venue they were going to play that evening. I don't know a lot about them just knew they are semi local and the singer, Steve Whiteman was from the area before he joined the band. In fact even more of a small world is I bowl on a league with a lady that used to be in a band with Steve Whiteman back before he was in KIX, not sure when they were in a band together, I'm assuming probably early 70's. Sorry about that being so long. I am doing well, I went through a little bit of a rough patch over the Winter (Long story), but once summer started I've been doing a lot and got my mental health straightened out. Being around loving people. Listening to music and going to concerts have helped me get through it. I hope that you're doing well also.
I'm sure you were really dizzy! I rolled down it a little ways once. Fell off the sled and somehow started rolling till I came to a stop. I got up a little bit dizzy.
Oh me too, me too! Just the other day was talking about it to someone and really going to miss it. I always enjoyed hearing the stories about the animals and only when Bob would talk about them and the other thing I'll miss and loved when the zoo was open was the animals interacting with Bob and getting so excited to see him. Oh, by the way please share this on you other social media pages. I'm not asking this to get more subscribers, just want tons and tons of people to see what a gem this place was.
@@sportsygirl8 Thank you for making. The animals loved Bob and he loved them. The zoo was so misrepresented by some. I love how you captured the interaction between Bob and Dodger.
@@Mark-qk2ru You're welcome! Yes, they sure did love him and he loved them just as much! It was very obvious. I had captured the moment of Bob and Dodger interacting way back in June of 2022, at the time I didn't know the zoo was going to close, but I got video of it because I loved seeing the two of them interact and then when I came up with the idea of making a tribute video I had to add that in there.

The domestic cats roam around the zoo, the one that my friend in the video is petting is a 2nd generation Bengal Cat and the people who had him previously had to get rid of him because he would attack or kill other dogs and cats in the neighborhood, so he can't be a house pet and they surrendered him to DNR who sent him to Tri-State Zoological Park. The owner couldn't keep him at his house because he has a dog and some cats, so he kept him at the zoo and in an enclosure so he couldn't attack the other cats that roam around or the other animals in the zoo, he was very content in his enclosure.
@@sportsygirl8 that's what I remember Bob saying too that the Bengal was a bit aggressive to the other strays that were dropped off, but he, Sebastian, seemed happy in his enclosure.
@@Mark-qk2ru Yep, Sebastian loved people as well. I remember one day I was petting Demo the Donkey and I hear Sebastian meowing till me or Bob or anyone there would come see him. He is so soft and a lovely cat, it's really hard believe that he's aggressive with other animals.
Just heard about this zoo on KTVU news with the Oakland Zoo now housing some animals. They looked happy and will be well cared for. After watching the news I expected to find the Tri-State Park to be a horror show, but it seems like it was built and run with love and care. Glad many will retain happy memories from the park.
They were happy and very well taken care of, what the news and PETA says about this place paints the picture of it being a bad place, but it really wasn't. Just unfortunate that PETA has picked on Bob from day one pretty much. What made the big news was when PETA took the lion and two tigers and right now when they took majority of the animals, but if you read this one article from The Gateway Pundit it said that Bob surrendered a few animals to PETA because of them harassing him over their living conditions. I wish you had the chance to see Tri-State Zoological Park in its heyday, but even in the final year it was pretty nice still. I will definitely have a lot of memories being here for sure. I also recommend you watching this video called Bob Built A Zoo from Rick Bibbee, it was what inspired my video here. Yes, it sure was run with love and care! Also, forgot to say that Cumberland, Maryland is a very small town in the Western part of Maryland so having a zoo here was a treat, it's something we never thought we'd have, but we did for 20 years.
He is really good, well, was really good. At the time of this video he was really good and was playing for the Pirates, now he's with the Brewers and not as good as he used to.

Yes, it was at the Allegany County fair. It really was an amazing concert and at that point I didn't think anyone could top that and here they had For King and Country and that was THE BEST!!!! Are you going to see Newsboys on July 18th?
That is awesome!!! They're a great band. I haven't seen them since they were at the fair in 2019. I saw that they're going to be at Garrett County fair today, but I can't make it.

@@ryannimmo8560 That's cool. I do the same. Will watch them at the fence and also watch them on RU-vid before I get on. Now, for roller coasters I mostly just get on them and not study them online.
