Here you will find the older generation of the D&D Derby Team with videos from the late 90s to the early 2000s mixed with videos from the new generation from the present time. Come along with us as we convert our old VHS tapes to digital.
I lived at Preble demos in the PCHM glory years. But it got so weak I finally gave up driving from Middletown. So is Smash It making this a top shelf derby again?
Dirt Country! I grew up in Middletown and was 22 in ‘92. Had an ‘87 Honda 250X Quad. Somehow managed to never visit DC but definitely knew it existed. Even heard about the demos. Just a lil to far away I reckon cause we went all over back then. Soon as I saw the thumbnail my mind went back to those days……
A lot of early and mid 70s full size Chevy's. Too bad for the mid 70s Eldorado. That LTD II was quick. What looked like a late 70s LeSabre was a strong car.
Thank you so much for these old videos! This is how the cars were when I derbied! I sure do miss those days. Thank you again for letting me see these videos!
What a trip down memory lane. I used to spend all year looking forward to the demolition derby's at Louisville Motor Speedway. Nearly 30 years later and seeing some of those cars like the 38 of Dale Couch and the Batman car just makes me feel like I was just there!
I live in Middletown….mighta been there lol. I was 23 and went to Butler and Preble Co derbies religiously at that time. This ain’t no video it’s a documentary of the golden years in this area. Spring derby if this had been recorded during the fair that grandstand woulda been packed to the rafters! Thanks Boss!
Unfortunately no. My mom only filmed the heats that my family members were in. I am so sorry. I know how it feels to look for derbies you know that you or someone was in and cannot find them, but are so close by finding one heat.
