Quick question I got the kicker version of this loc which has the remote wire. But my question is, is it OK to tap into the stock OEM subwoofer connection? Is it too much power for that little device or will it be OK? It’s the stock amp and subwoofer plug in the back of the mega cab behind the seats . Just because it’s easy to access is why I’m asking.
Low-lying fog has less to do with temperature than humidity content. If the fog comes in contact with water (or ice) it will saturate and become 'heavy'. You can produce the best low-lying effect by using a water mister instead of ice or dry ice.
One of these days I'll get around to making a chiller. I want to have one set up on each side of my yard. And maybe after a few years I'll get really ambitious and make some for my neighbors at the end of the streets. Have all 4 corners and my house in the middle blasting fog to cover the whole street.
Just made the same type of snow gun. Waiting for a cold day to make some snow. Thanks for the info and for showing the unit actually making snow. Do you remember what the temperature and humidity was when you made that snow? Also, how long did you run to make the snow on your snowboard ramp? Cool stuff! Cheers, John ❄👍
Of you use a Pac line out converter with remote turn on you dont need to tap into your cigarette lighter. Makes things a lot easier. And it's 19.99 on Amazon

wow this helped me a lot. I was having problems with the wind blowing it directly and the fog was just not really showing up. I def believe my problem was placed up hig and I had no control of direction.
Thanks for taking the time to show us these fog techniques... I noticed that you created an S shape elbow on your PVC pipe "Fog Blanket" set-up, I was wondering why. If the pipe was simply straight, would it affect the outcome?
