I love batiks too! Actually I just finished quilting 2 tops that I had made with batiks in 2019--I had put them in a tub and forgot about them. Love the applique flower block! I look forward to seeing the quilt and possibly pattern. Hey there's a video idea for you--guide us in making the pretty applique flower block.

I can't wait to see what you make with the Monarch collection! I have one of those Wing Clippers and have never used it. Hoping you can show how you use the Wing Clipper on a video. I have a Pink Oliso iron and love it! I'm working on a Cotton Club pattern quilt with Civil War colored fabrics for my son for his birthday towards the end of February. I had a bad burn on my left wrist a couple of years ago when I turned and bumped into my other iron in my tiny studio. No more burns.
