This is very interesting! Can it be used to live stream to multiple platforms at once? Also does it take the USB-C out of the FX6 and FX3 to get a live video signal, or does it need to use the HDMI?
How can I connect a shotgun into the input so that it leaves one channel free... I need to find a way to have shotgun audio on one side and wireless on other. Do I need to connect the shotgun with a XLR to mono 3,5 so it keeps one channel "clean"? And I am of course talking of the URX-P41D... if anyone know please share. Oh by the way - I do not want to use the wireless connector because it makes the rig clumsy. rather connect via cable.
"Funny" that thes two guys never once mention whether the panel's color deph processing is true 10-bit or only 8-bit. This is not even mentioned in the PJ's brochure. Sony PJ lacks WiFi -- how weird is that for a 2020 model intended for business use? Using USB sticks to get WiFi -- that is so 2000-ish.
ROBOCOP feature. The dust will be hammered off once evry 100 hours of use? AND WHERE WILL THAT DUST GO EXACTLY? Geesus, Man, if you are that lazy to remove from the PJ body to clean an air filter properly -- just go with a large commercial flat panel display. Regarding the LENSES (3000-series?), well some of these have been out for a good 10 to 15 years and even longer. And the two optional lenses I am eying, the 3007 and Z3009, are actually MANUAL LENSES !!!! In a power/servo lens world. So very disappointing, hmmm? And frankly, a negative 5% vertical lens shifting is but a cruel joke. Not to mention horizontal lens shifting at only 4% or even at only 24%. What the heck is going on with all of that, Sony-San?
AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR: I just hope that the user can totally shut-off this AMBIANCE "feature." I don't want an über-smart "smart PJ" that makes all sorts of "automatic adjustments" whether I want them or not. And I definitely do not want that other Sony feature, BRIGHT VIEW, to ever come on. How gimmicky can they get with an allegedly pro-class projector?
Is there information on transferring your mocap file to Blender instead of Unreal, or is it intuitive? What format is the mocap file produced by Mocopi? FBX?
