I found out what the frequencies are on the Minelab 440 through the artificial intelligence on my computer. They are 5 Khz, 10 khz, 15 khz, 20 khz, and 40 khz.
Nice hunt seems like you and I were having the same kind of day today with the eagle backs. I also got out yesterday found a lot of clad and garbage and added another silver ring to my collection 👊
I picked it up awhile back on eBay. I was looking for a leather sheath for my dig tool and I liked the way it looked.would of preferred without the pinpointer loop but it works.
Nice hunt. I got out myself a few times this week. Thursday I got a wheatie and a silver head of Christ. Saturday I got 3 wheaties a silver religious pendant and a 1942 silver war nickel.
@@RJCDetecting I did think about making a channel but not sure if I have the time for all of that. I just got back into detecting in September of 2022. Since then I have about 20 silver rings, 7-8 gold rings, a few gold pendants, probably about 20 silver charms and pendants, 4 or 5 silver chains, a few silver and gold earrings and countless clad coins all with the Vanquish 440. Your treasures will come 👍
Got a harbor freight detector almost new for 40$ wife found 47cents in 5 minutes. Now she has me buying a Vanquish 540 with pro point 40 and stuff. Best 40$ I've spent in a while.
You just never know if its gold or not. Pennys also ring up 20, 21. Gold has a wide range of numbers it can ring up in. I have found gold rings with a vdi of 8- 10
Thanks, I am using the equinox 600 in this video. I have three machines at the moment the equinox 600, Vanquish 440, and a Tekenetics gamma 6000. I found a token with the gamma 6000 several years ago. I could never really get a solid I'd on what type it was. It said the mecca inc 5 cent on it.
Nice hunt 👍 Just a suggestion if you can dig your plug with your shovel using your left hand while still holding the detector once you flip your plug you can swing over the plug and the ground to identify where the target is.
@@RJCDetecting I use the Vanquish 440. You will need to be on old ground to find the silver coins. I have tons of old ground where I live in New York but I don't chase the silver coins but, I have found some. There are also resources you can use to find older sites like historic aerial's, old map works.
Nice hunt. I went out Sunday for 9 hours, 3 Wheaties 1 being a 1909. A ton of clad, a lot of garbage and no jewelry 😭😭😭 That little guy you found was a Minion 😂
Yea I haven't found much really old coins I recently found a earring looks like might be gold but I Dunno it don't have any markings I could see. It was right on the surface.Thats a good find a 1909 wheatie. Thanks for watching and info on minion. Good luck on your hunts.👍
@@RJCDetecting I found it at my local high school, but that's not my oldest coin I found there . I found 3 Indian Head pennies there also oldest one being a 1864 or 65 can't remember
Plus notch do 💯 targets for vdi numbers in silver get a medium I did 200 high end targets even new Forbes new ring lines in silver 8 top cuts in 🔹 diamonds as well and extra 38 targets in gold 🥇 plus narrow band gold rings set at 5 ins and air test outa ground. Plus check ot any vdi or settings on new books out by top players as well enjoy cheers for video.😂
Folks whether it was meant to be or not, this is a tutorial on the proper way to retrieve a target. Notice how he first uses the pin-pointer to narrow down the target location which reduces the size of the plug needed to be cut. Next he uses a sharp proper sod cutting tool to make the cut/incision in the sod. Notice that he leaves a flap of sod/grass on his plug instead of cutting completely around the target and removing the entire plug. This is called a trap door plug and it is critical to ensure that the plug has the greatest success in staying alive once tamped down. Finally after the target is removed, he folds the plug back and tamps it securely into place with his foot. As a fellow detectorist, I would let this guy detect on my property without hesitation. He could dig 1000 plugs and I bet you would not be able to tell where he dug. Kudos to you sir and well done!
Thank you so much for your comment I appreciate you taking the time! I try to leave a site without anyone knowing I dug there. Thank you so much for watching and good luck on your hunts.👍👍
to ponder that a man named Ernie Fraze made millions on his invention of the aluminum pull tab which is now covering almost every part of the earth that has people. We continually dig these up so not to miss a ring or valuable. First the patent was bought by ALCOA. I have found about a dozen rings over the past few years, three were gold, and about a thousand pull tabs. Worse thing to ever be invented lol. Remember they were followed by a push in type which you could cut your finger if it slipped while doing it.
Oh and another thing, don't make videos of finding modern trash and post them. No one wants to see that stuff. It's bad enough going out and clearing the top layer of modern garbage off a spot much less sitting thru a video where someone else is... So for those out there thinking of getting into metal detecting you better be prepared to dig hundreds of holes cleaning modern debris before you ever start finding anything that's actually cool. Especially if it's a site trafficked by people for decades.
