I'm a full time stay-at home father and a professional photographer who also likes to shoot and produce videos in various forms. For the moment, I'm focusing heavily on family and photography, so enjoy what videos I can put out, as infrequent as they may be.
Michigan is awesome. I visited Clarkston for a phish show went up to whitefish point. I’m from Florida and I enjoyed my time up there a lot. Looking forward to visiting again
Been here 3 times. 2/3 were very enjoyable. The 3rd time was during some weird swarm of insects that made it just miserable. Hopefully not a common occurrence. I definitely plan to visit it again
Ryan That looks to be the case. Thanks for pointing this out. Luckily they didn't get much attention with my content. I've reported the video and tried to make contact with the uploaded to have it removed.
Dorian Martinez Preciado I actually don't own the D750. I don't even own a full frame body. But I have heard from others who say that if you don't mind a crop sensor, the D500 is a much better buy. The body is much more durable. It's a more professional setup and built similarly to the new D850. You would not be disappointed.
Super love this and all of the captures of the beach walk. The music fits PERFECT with it also. Wishing you a ton more success with your channel! :) check out adventure channel if you would like!
Thanks for the support! It means a lot to hear it's being enjoyed. Definitely motivates me to keep going and to keep striving for it to get better with each go.
Love the video, but pass on the vertical video for my part. Glad to see another Nikon shooter. I do my photography on a d800e. I vlog on an RX100. Come check out my vlog if you get time. Thumbs up!
Thanks for watching! I used to do a ton of timelapses and collaborated with a musical artist in the town I used to live for a couple of years, so I'd uploaded fairly frequently for a while, but took a break from production as I had my first child and moved back near family, but now that we're settled in, I plan to focus again on some video production and I'm really enjoying this style of shooting. I guess, simply though, I've been on here for almost two years now showcasing work. I also used to study cinematography, so that's why I have some more traditional film styles in on my page too.
Looks good. Personally, I don't like it because all that black area seems like wasted space. A few months back, I bought an app called InShot (for iPhone). When I do record a video in portrait, I use that app to create the blurred background affect. Then I upload that video.
Frank Erazo oh I totally understand. the intent was to be able to full screen on your phone in portrait mode so that there are no black bars and you can hold your phone more comfortably. perhaps I'm wrong, so maybe the next vlogg will be in landscape orientation. Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate you watching and thinking about it.
both were shot on the tokina 11-16mm DX II. the first shot at f/5 1/300s, iso 100. the second was shot at f/2.8, with 8 second exposures at ISO 4000, though, next time I'll be extending the exposures and reducing the iso most certainly to reduce noise.
David, first of all, amazing compositions! Then, we appreciate decision to change music from the usual new age based one's, but this one seems not to be aligned to the compositions. Suggest you watch to some strange choices ( Motion 4K vol. 2 by Yuri Palma is a very unusual music, but it works!!) and better fine tuned on choices
Thank you for watching and I do appreciate the feedback. One thing I do need to work on is being patient enough to find the perfect music for the setting. I do like the music I chose, but I know there are even better fits for my type of work, so I really do connect with what you're saying and will keep trying harder to find the right fits for my style of video.
