Thanks for posting this. I was there in the Golden Circle, they sent me tickets for the wrong date so we were given new tickets and were down the front. By the time Sweet Child O' Mine was playing I was knackered, it was such a hot day and we'd gotten a bus from Cardiff. Couldn't believe how long they played and kept the energy up. An amazing day none the less.
Prophet 5 synthesizer make these sound effects, it is just brilliant. However, other bands such as Hot Chocolate and Godley&Creme didn't use prophet 5 so efficient way.
This is a comment I put alot of time and heart into so can you please read it I'm not trying to get attention he was just a big part of my life so here it is I am still struggling with Chesters suicide. the only song I can listen to without crying is hands held high. I went to two of their concerts the first one when I was six and the other was their second last concert in the O2 I just didn't expect this to happen he kept so many people alive but he tore himself apart doing it because it must have been hard singing about his past the only thing I have to remember them that is an object is a silver ring that they put into a competition that they did for a charity that supports people with depression after Chester took his life it hasn't arrived yet but hopefully it will soon. I have all of linkin park's albums and know most of their songs off by heart because the only music I listened to while growing up was linkin park. I started listening to them when I was three and still try to now but it is a lot harder. My one dream in life was to meet Chester but it didn't happen I always wanted a signed photo or an autograph of the whole band together. I introduced my friends to Linkin park and we talked about them every day. I found out he was dead on my last day of my school year which made me really sad through the whole summer holiday. I still haven't told my family how sad I was and I'm not planning to yet. My favourite clothes were my linkin park T-shirt and linkin park hat but I just can't wear them anymore. I still think of the band every day and I sincerely hope that no one else in the band decides to take their own lives because the effect of Chesters death has put the community into a depression and if someone else did this I think many fans might take their own lives which would shatter the community even more. I hope everyone who reads this makes the decision to carry on Chester and the rest of the bands reputation of being the best music there is let's keep the band alive. R.I.P Chester everyone in linkin parks fan Base misses you. Everyone must stay strong though and carry on with our lives every one has lost someone they looked up to here so your not alone he brought light in to my life he probably did the same for every one else here so if your really sad tell someone don't let it bottle up in side because it can have serious consequences. I hope linkin park see this so they can carry on passing on the message that we all miss him but we need to be strong. There have been many tributes to him and I hope that his legacy will live on through his band mates, Co workers, family, friends and fans We all miss you Chester R.I.P :( 😭
you are and you ware number one man always and forever in my heart chester..nothing can compare to you...everything but chester...love you always..r.i.p
Thank you soooooo much for filming and uploading this video, you gave me a memory on record :) I had the privilege to shake Chester's hand, and it can be seen in this vid <3
That was one of the best concerts I've been to. The sound was great, the visual, performance, choice of songs.. there were children at the concert, guess the parents are trying to raise them right..
I broke down on the motorway on my way down from Sheffield tried everything to still make it I couldn't even just dump the car and get a taxi at £200 from the midlands Car would have been towed and I probably would have been prosecuted, tried everything but ran out of time to make the gig 2 tickets in my wallet wasted Missed one I really wanted to be at and £180 for the tow home gutted isn't the word
Amazing concert indeed, especially came from Belgium 2 London 2 C them again after their Antwerp Sportpalace concert the 9th of may....... TOPband!!! My all-time favourite!!!
DEPECHE MODE IN LONDON LAST NIGHT... We...the fans... We strongly regret that no medias are mentionning that Depeche Mode were doing a concert last night at the London Stadium, which is located at only 28 minutes by car (1 hour if there is lots of trafic) from the London Bridge, where some of last night's attacks occured. We have to tell the medias about last night's concert, being so close to the attack sight. If there would have been a or more than one bomb during the concert... On the Montreal side of the medias, thanks to CBC Montreal for having taking this in consideration, that there was a major concert being given so close tot he attack sights. No French language medias nor any other medias have mentionned last night's Depeche Mode concert there in London just yet. No world medias seem to know neither, what a shame, what a pity... ..................................................................................
