We’re just an ordinary family that loves going out and enjoying God’s creation. We enjoy doing things as a family including our current project of building a camper out of a wrecked suburban. We will be documenting this project as well as some of our trips in it. We’ll also share some of our adventures and how we do things with the kids. We hope you enjoy it and that in some way we can be a blessing to you.
Yes I considered adding something like that. If the windshield is clean it’s not bad, if it’s dirty there’s more of a glare. We’ll use it some and see how big of an issue it is out on the trail
People seem to overlook using trailer wire. The connections come in waterproof types, it comes in multiple gauges, and is readily available. Always a good choice, especially if you are comfortable doing your own connectors.
... 5:30 ... What about tighten it where you want it the drill a (horizontal) hole through the nut and bolt and put a pin or wire through them? Thanks for the video. Jeff
We like seeing you all spending time with your family. In this world we are living in you don’t see that much anymore. Your kids are not lazy, that is special too. Thank you for your videos. Looking forward to more. God bless you! Arkansas is a great place to live. We love living here too!
We enjoy your videos because of your faith and family! I have to admit, the Suburban camper brought me to your channel, but your family keeps us watching. God bless!
Thanks for the video, I’m looking at purchasing this tent. I have a few questions if you have the time. Does the black cover roll up out of the way once the tent is deployed? So you can access the vehicle from the annex? Did your tent come with interior led lights? Have you tested it out in the rain? Thanks for your time!
The cover is removable so yes you can axes the vehicle from the annex. It does come with a built in led strip in the tent. We have had it in the rain and it’s done well. We have an older CVT as well and it’s been through some strong winds and heavy rain and never leaked!
I love your videos, I like seeing the countryside in your adventures. That was probably a C-17 that flew over, C-130 is a smaller 4 engine turbo prop with a lower, more rumbly sound.
Thanks! Probably, I knew it sounded like jet engines and not props so that's what had me confused. I didn't know if some C-130s were equipped with jet engines instead. C-17 makes a lot more sense though, I just don't know my planes well enough!
A bit of a coincident to see your battery situation. Only a couple days ago I saw someone doing what you did with the small tool bateries on utube. He used a penney for positive and negative, then connected the battery cables to each penney.
OK! Now just where did y'all turn around??? And how far did you have to back up?? I know how big your truck is, and how narrow the road is, and how steep the hills can be....
We didn’t have to backup far this time before we found a big enough spot to turn around. We have had times before where we had to backup a long ways, especially when we have our trailer with us!
@@trove1312 We have a van, 19' long, large like your rig. We do not go into areas like you do, as it is not raised, but, we do venture out and some of the roads can get interesting!!
After watching her wade through all those frigid waters I knew that would happen eventually. AttaGirl!!! Yes I’m still here. Sorry ‘bout that. However, can’t say you didn’t deserve it ❤
Light bar looks awesome! Would love to see the wiring video for the whole roof rack system. I’ve been thinking about putting side lights on my baseline rack too for camping.
Any water that gets in it should drain out the bottom. I'll drill a couple more drain holes if it looks like its holding water anywhere. I'll probably get some rubber plugs to fill the holes on top as well to minimize the water that gets in it.
Joshua, I’ve seen lots of engineering in nuke plants and you moving that play set/climbing wall from one location to another several miles away is one of the coolest things I’ve seen by such few workers. You could’ve easily made a great mechanical engineer. Love your videos!
