For all of the negative press that STL gets nationally you won't find a better baseball experience anywhere else. They love their team and love the game.
Baseball is the one thing we do well in STL, love going to a game and then hanging out at Ballpark Village before/after. They've really made that area pretty cool, lot of development around there.
Red Shoendienst is pronounced "shayne-deenst" and is a hall of fame shortstop and World Series champion manager. Technically you are at Busch Stadium III. Busch Stadium II was across the street. Sportsmans Park became Busch Stadium in 1954 when the St Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles.

Also, "The Heat is On" from '85 brings a huge wave of emotions for me, thanks so much for including that.
I think "the heat is on" is from '82. Celebration from '83. From '85 I just remember Jack Clark smashing a homerun one seat in front of me, and of course, "the decision". Ironically they beat perhaps a superior Milwaukee team (on paper) in '82 and we're heir apparents in '85 and went cold. That's why ya gotta play the game.
