The only trolling I have done with this boat is on a river in current, so I'm not sure exactly how slow I can get on a lake. Probably around 3mph, but I'll double check next time I am out. My max MPH has been upper 40s. I can get around 47mph most of the time. I'd be curious to see what a different prop would do.
Looping mode 🤣. Yeah, I did that a couple times before I figured it out, though I just lost an SD card. Anyway, nice boat, looking forward to seeing on the river soon.
@@positivelyfishing1810 I’m thinking about Friday, but have no clue what to start with. Seemed like a was always one presentation what I needed to be using last fall.
@rogercarlson2330 it sure is! On the flip side, we have met some pretty cool people down there! We also fish the Fox in the spring and that is just as crazy.
so i also live in Wisconsin ive been looking for places to go people say by the Wasau area is good but i dont know how to go about if i need any permits or any thing for it
Most of my gold panning is in a county park that allows planning/sluicing, so I’m not totally sure about the permit thing. I think panning with hand tools is fine in most areas.
@@positivelyfishing1810 thank you so much for your help/ response I’ve been trying to look up information on using stream sluices but it wasn’t giving me straight answers on Google! Thank you again :) and I wish you the best of luck !
@@positivelyfishing1810 thank you, I look forward to getting started ASAP but Ik it’s going to be hard to estimate but how long did it take you to find 3-5g of gold, I’m wanting to eventually forge a ring, but I’m sure it’s easier to move more dirt with help
Nice man I just got the same boat last month except with a Suzuki 115. I just got done installing the trim gauge. I was pretty disappointed they don’t include that standard. A little tricky to install as it’s not quite plug-and-play per the instructions but otherwise not hard.
Seems like the water has come down quite a bit. Was it difficult to maintain boat control or did you stick to wing dams as much as possible? Thanks for sharing. Great looking boat by the way congratulations!
The water is moving pretty good, but boat control wasn’t an issue. I have the new (non quest) ulterra and that thing is awesome. I was actually using the new drift mode while vertical jigging and that worked really well.
Thanks for another great video. Really wanting to get back on the river, but between flooding, and a ton of things at home, I’m having trouble just getting out on local lakes to get content for my channel. Hopefully see you there soon, looking forward to checking out your new ride. Tight Lines Buddy.
When did Ryan step on one of your rods? FYI, not that you use leeches much or ever, BUT.... Don't put leeches in the bait bags in the live well, we did that in my dads Alumacraft and the leeches crawled there way through the bag and were just swimming everywhere in the live well. This was a few years ago, so they might have improved the bags to have a tighter mesh, but thought I'd let you know!
Nice boat brother. Congratulations. I am picking up the same model w Suzuki 140 tomorrow haven’t decided what electronics and troll motor to go with. Do you have any good recommendations for a middle of the road setup for helm and bow? Do not need anything too fancy. First real fishing boat I’ve owned and will upgrade if need be for electronics. Thanks.
A terrova for a trolling motor and a Humminbird Helix unit at both locations would be great! Get as big as you can afford. You won't regret it. I would recommend that your unit at the helm, whatever you decide to get, should have side imaging. if you get two compatible helix units, you should be able to connect them together with a cable. That way it would share all of your waypoints.
Nice production on a sunny blue bird day. Congratulations also on the new boat. Love my Alumacraft/Suzuki combo. Enjoy the summer and hopefully the St Croix lowers at some point.
