Oddly, none of the stores around here carry crimps. Rather strange. Also, you only really need a snap on one end as you'll already have a snap on your mainline. No need for two. I only put snaps on the downstream end of my gear (mainline, bumper, flasher).
I had to order mine off Amazon. You’re right about only needing one side but I like to double up to avoid line twist. I’ve had issues before and had to re spool my reel, so I always throw another one on. Tight lines……
@knottedhooks I have swivels or beadchains on both ends, but only the downstream end has a snap (snap swivel, duo-lock, etc...). And yeah, I guess I'll have to order some online. In Alaska the stores just had them. Here in the Lower 48, at least inland, they don't seem to know they exist.

Dude if you find yourself in Boise, Salt Lake, Texas look for a Scheels it is the best store ever it takes like two hours to go through the whole thing it has hiking, hunting, fishing, golfing, and all the other sports football, baseball, basketball it has so many things it is amazing. I have been to this store it is 🤩 amazing I always bring my lawn mowing money
Hawaii fishing for me was a blast I went to Maui right before Covid shut everything down in January of 2020 and it was probably my best trip ever I went with my mom dad and grandpa and we had caught so many fish our arms where so sore we couldn’t real anymore. My grandpa had been planning the trip for months because he is paralyzed and fishing is what he found his purpose in life is and it makes him feel free because he can’t do anything else really. All the other guides declined him because he is in a wheelchair. But after trying all then pretty much he had one that he called and they said that they would love for him to fish and they helped us lift him in the boat and we took off we caught our bait and then he took us to his best spot he said and it was so fun. The brand was Start Me Up. Have fun. Stay safe
Nice rainbow. Hey next time bring your walleye stuff like some plugs and jig those from a boat just right off the side don’t even cast and if you are in the right spot you can get some good fish
Dude this looks like a mirror it is so clean this looks nice. Hey if you want water my grandpas house had the pipes burst a year ago and flooded under the whole house they had a pond. So just bust your pipes and fish under you house it will be like ice fishing but Eire no ice endless it is really cold😂
This was such an amazing way of explaining the knot I was watching because my grandpa is taking me out this summer to the Columbia River at buoy 10 and I wanted to remember how to tie the knot. I knew how to cut and put the herring on but I learned a new trick with the guts and hole. Thanks for the video. Looked at you other videos and I am subbed this channel looks like fun. It’s fire. Use rock salt instead of coarse and add a red packet of cool aid to the mix. That’s one secret ingredient I didn’t mention. Good luck and tight lines🔥🤘🔥
