Thanks for the sub! Good question about braking as well. With this car being a turd we're not using the brake to slow it down so much as we are using it to get the weight to transfer to the front. I suppose you can say one "trail brakes" into 3 but it barely meets the definition. Using the brakes to get the weight to the front get the front suspension working. As I mentioned (and will every track guide) back up the corner. Backing up the corner allows you to get to the gas sooner (not harder) and lets you make the straightaways as long as possible. I'll def touch on that next week with the Bullring.
Back in the late 90s my school didn't teach cursive but I was personally taught it by a teacher who noticed my want to learn it... Nevada was ranked 50th in the nation for education at that time so... there's that.
I wouldn’t say this lays on the shoulders of the school systems themselves. This all stems from the Common Core standards. Which is directly related to those who are being elected to public office.
Good morning. New sub from Charles city Virginia been watching lh channel for while. Tuff season. But yall be fine....getting ready start of Montana 200 on lh channel. Good luck safe travels. AGREE 💯 on this story
Thanks for taking time to follow a little ol crewman such as myself. I’m a small guy with a lot to say. I hope you enjoy my content and my channel becomes one you look forward to enjoying!
It's a way to delete the past. If the younger can't read it then they don't know. Luckily my son was taught. But many can't read it so they can't read history.
I didn’t even think about the fact it absolutely does “disconnect” a generation from the past. I had a comment on Facebook that made the point that if they can’t read cursive they most likely won’t be able to read the Constitution! An absolute disconnect from history!
I had a lady mention on Facebook the fact that if they are unable to read it, they’ll be unable to read our country’s constitution. Now I do not believe that is the motivation remove it in the slightest however the fact they’ll be unable to and at some point very few will be able to is factual.
Going into my sophomore year of college, school never taught it to me (kindergarten 2010) but mom did teach me. In all honesty though, I just don't use it, I'm already a rare breed for preferring paper notes, and I think that lack of paper in general is part of what's causing the problem
@@rosscrashtain however we can't say that one will cause the other. One must have been taught cursive or had it at least attempted. Unless its taught at home (which much of anything is anymore) it must be taught while in school. Until teacher pay is what it should be for the ones who want to educate future adults in our society, we are stuck with what we have.
You're not the only younger one to say something to me like this to me today. I'd bet that Earnhardt's and Petty's "signature" wouldn't have been nearly as desired if they were in print. Change my mind.
PC issues so I was unable to stream either race. You can check out the broadcast of both of the races at the link below.... ru-vid.comudAnsnSuG9A?si=EraHvnK0MY2q7Yo6
When I saw Belshaw not go like the rest I knew shit was not going to shake out well. Then watching that deal down the back, my thoughts “mother fk I’m going to make it in through the heat!” Just for me to loose it to Harberts on the last lap 😭😭
@@rj_w21 Yeah idk what he was doing. He like gunned it and then let up. I got a good jump for once and when I saw him not going I hesitated because I wasn't sure what Rocky was going to do in 2nd and Cole was hammer down 3 wide up the middle going into 1.
If you check out the relative you can see the name. I'm not going to put their name of full blast. They were protested but seemed to have only been given a smack on the hand.
@@rj_w21 Yea they pay Late Models 1500 to win and 275 to start and pay street stocks 900 to win and 150 to start and compacts 700 to win and 125 to start and B-main guys get 250 to win and 75 to start
This is a great idea, but I'm not sure how to execute it. I would ask Landon but Id have more luck talking to a brick wall. I'll ask around and see what upfront costs would be. Maybe I could do a preorder or something of that nature.
Them RKM fucks? Easy now lol.... That was an interesting race. Burned my stuff up too much on the 50-100 run trying to race for the lucky dog position and also keep myself far enough ahead of Dustyn to not risk going 2 down but of course he still caught the end of the field again so it was all for nothing. Racing was good once I got back on the lead lap though.
Between it feeling like it was in top of the track and then trying to get the power down it definitely made me concentrate on what I was doing. I’d call it a successful race. No bonehead moves from me lol
@@rj_w21 I thought it was a late model 😆 why are the super lates soo empty? It's the same with the modifieds, the sk series has numbers but the C class series is empty.
Pepsi is better overall, cherry coke is better than cherry pepsi though, did you have the fancy cans back in the early 2000s? a red and black can with the writing in white block capitals? that was the best stuff.
I appreciate that Mr. Cross. I get that he missed a shift it seems like, the fact he didn't pull it way down on the front stretch and allowed the car to wonder into the field irks me pretty good.. lol My mind can not comprehend! lol
