That's a beautiful 30's National 25qt ! I buy them and fully restore them, clean, test and adjust the original pressure guages, add stainless steel ball and spring in the safety blowoff valve, recalibrate the safety to 23 psi. Lap the tapered seal for perfect fit and switch the old style needle pressure adjuster to the Mirro 5/10/15 jigglers. After freshening them up they are wonderful workhorse canners and cookers along with having tha gorgeous 20's 30's vintage look ! Great info, more people need to start canning. Self reliance is a important skill.
I have an area 47 x 16 that has been a weed patch requiring lot's of work to keep it in check. I want to plant buffalo grass in this are. There has not been any other grass in this area. It has been tilled and i raked it out and it's ready for planting. I have planted all of the lawn in my yard by putting seed down just prior to freezing. In the spring, the seed begins to germinate and grow. I plan on doing this with Buffalo grass, but I am curious what variety to use. I live in Salt Lake City at an elevation of roughly 4700 ft. I'm curious what variety you would recommend. Thank you
Hi Barbara, Thank you so much for sharing the SAFE way to infuse oils I can’t tell you how many videos I have seen and I don’t believe any of them Went into depth about this So once again, thank you
I love episodes with native plants, we need more on this subject. I'm trying to do as many native species in my garden and pond as I can and appreciate as much information as I can get.
Just purchased a home with this tree. Unfortunately the original owners weren’t much gardeners, so it’s somewhat mushroom like. And I think it really could have been something if they had the experience. Since it’s probably 40 years old. Gonna do my best to bring some more life and whimsy back into it.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua ישוע (Jesus) and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the YHVH יהוה (LORD) shall be saved.” Romans 10:8-13
I have a gorgeous orb weaver that lives outside of my home. I call her Charlotte and check on her every day. Unlike the antsy but cute little jumping spiders that live around my back porch, Charlotte is always very chill and never seems to mind me be nosy and admiring her.
I always wait till I can harvest just the seeds directly from the head, but but they tend to be rather dirty and dusty. Is it better to dry the head at home until they fully ready?
I fell in love with pampas and planted it in my front yard. Then I did the research I should’ve done before planting, and realized I had to dig it out. I planted my pampas’s in a big deep container and it flourished beautifully. It ain’t going nowhere. And I can move it for privacy wherever I want 👍
