Definitely needs calibrating, chip way to light, even for a two coat seal and It needs laps to tie on too for next lane run, if you miss a join stripping will start, and can it handspray and is it only set to 1 fixed width of nozzles
To be honest i think i still prefer two separate machines unless you are just doing small municipal jobs it may be fine but in my experience once you get oil on the spreader part in any great quantity (overspray,mist) its going to start sticking and being a pain in the butt. Also if the machine breaks your down if theyre separate machines there is usually an alternative solution. Been sealcoating 37 years and im still learning stuff.
Hi brad, what you said is complete true. this machine is suitable for bigsealing project. for big sealing project we just recommend our customer to use our intelligent bitumen sprayer andself propelled chip spreader. both of them are 6 meter. so they match perfect.

Well sir, I grew up in the Midwest, Northern Illinois and Wisconsin, and this was the way most of the roads in the area were made. Multiple coats over a two year period. I'll tell you those roads never failed, never had cracks or pot holes either. They are still in great shape now 50 years later. Not like the crap blacktop or concrete they put down these days. I live in Virginia now, and they replace the highway twice PER YEAR. using blacktop. Which breaks up and cracks, pot holes etc. I'll take the old ways any day.
